This citric acid arrived quickly and is such a great-sized container. It will last a while. This has so many uses, but sprinkle it on my fresh produce to help keep fresh in the refrigerator.

We got this food safe citric acid to make frozen grapes with a sour coating, which was recommended to us by one of our friends. It works very well for that purpose! I have now tried it with a couple of different fruits (mostly as garnishes for cocktails) and I'm pleased over all. The powder is similarly textured to the coating of sour gummy worms, so you get a little bit of interesting contrast between the soft fruit and the outside coating. It's pleasantly sour, if you eat a whole lot of it you can probably burn your mouth a little like you can with sour gummies. I recommend it for making fruit deserts and garnishes.

This is a pound of citric acid. I use citric acid in home cheese and soap making. I works like any other citric acid - I think it's all the same. This container will last me a long time!

I used this to make a "dip" for my fresh-cut fruit after washing to help keep it from browning and turning bad as quickly. It seemed to work well for the purpose. It had a typically citric acid tangy taste, but nothing terrible or unexpected. The amount you get for the price is good for the food-grade version of citric acid.

I have many coffee machines and espresso machines that might sit for a bit after use. Also the fact that the water here is pretty hard to the extent that I need to clean it every 6 months. This makes Citric acid a very good choice for me since there is no contact with anything that might damage my machines. As far as this product goes I have used it on 3 different machines so far and it has helped to push out some of the calcium buildup that has developed over the continued use of these devices.

This arrived from the vendor sealed in an outer plastic wrapper. The container inside was secure with a recloseable dual sided lid (one side for sprinkling, the other side for spooning out). There was a tamper evident seal between the lid & container that was well affixed. I could find no manufacture date or good by date anywhere on the container.I use this to keep my toilet bowls clean without harming the ceramic.Inside the tank of the toilet bowls, this removed scum that gets in the water valves & can cause them to pulse — this is much better than using cleaners that will destroy the rubber seams.I like this product & recommend it.
