I was skeptical
I had read that some people had problems running their generator, not necessarily this model, on propane. I even waited a while to try to start it. Bottom line, it started on the very first try! I’ve even taught my wife how to start it. It has an electric starter. I’ve got it running three times with absolutely no trouble! Would buy again.

Great for the price and size
In my current neighborhood, it isn't practical to have a permanent generator next to the house. The Generac I have had in my prior home has to activate weekly for testing and it makes a lot of noise. I am using this one for emergencies.I have a portable battery backup/inverter for the house (Bluetti) that can power part of my house for about 6 hours. If I need backup longer than that, I can power this up and plug the inverter into this so that it is charging (or recharging) and feeding the house at the same time. It is noisy, but I am only going to use it for emergencies.Portable is also a great solution for me as we have a motorhome as well.Assembly was easy and it has worked on natural gas on the first try.

Exactly what we needed and works perfectly.
Knowing the vulnerability of the Texas power grid and that 25 named storms are predicted this year, I bought this to replace my old gasoline generator I bought in '08 during Ike. The deciding factor was the natural gas fuel option, so I needn't go in search of gasoline or propane. Then 2 weeks later Beryl came thru town [Houston], and I had staged the gen on my back patio [where there's a nat gas tap for a BBG grill. When our power went out at 4AM I went out back and cranked it up [battery start]. It purred like a kitten until our Power returned. I also bought a portable AC, so we were comfy and cool, with TV, fridges powered up, even got the Internet gear powered up- Although Xfinity was down. So we're fixed for the next power outage[s].

Works better than expected
I love the option of using three separate fuel choices. The electric starter works every time.I live over 5,000’ asl and needed a different sized jet. The part number from the manual was not available on the Champion website, but an email to the customer support resulted in the correct part shipped to me at no charge. I appreciate knowing they have my back. This is my third Champion generator. I still have my second one and have used it for twelve years now and it still starts with the first pull every time.

Back up power
I tested the generator when it arrived. Haven't had to use it yet but is ready if needed.

Junk. Do not buy
Complete Garbage. I got this for emergencies and wouldnt you know it. The first time I need it, it wont start. Complete garbage design. So many safety features it wont run. Just like the stupid safety gas cans. When are people gonna learn. Just bought this thing and now it in the garbage. Trash. Never buy one of these. You wont have power.

Great small generator.
I needed a generator to power my refrigerator, a fan, and a few lights in case of an outage. Most backup generators are HEAVY and putting them in a pickup truck takes two people, at least. This one, I could barely move by myself. Plus, it was the power I needed and cost a lot less than the big ones.

appears to be just what i needed
Easy set up - connected to Natural Gas line ... think i'll be very happy with this - Houston's bound to have another power outage sometime! I have it set up close to the house ... with intent of moving out when needed. Gas line was run from attic down the side of fireplace wall. Cover is on it and i have a small piece of painted plywood on to of it with a plant on top ... looks nice and blends right in
