Acme Versailles Faux Leather Tufted Executive Chair in Gray and Bone White

The chair is beautiful. I gave 3 stars because it's not comfortable. It would be much better if there was a tilt/recline option. The back of the chair is hard and doesn't move at it. The armrests are too low on the chair to be able to rest your arms.

You are paying for the beauty and aesthetic, not quality. It's not heavy solid wood of good quality, it's cheaper wood that breaks easily when you're putting it together. The arm rests don't secure on with the hardware provided and they are still loose.If you want a good quality rococo/baroque style chair, just get a solid wood one from a local antique store. This is way too overpriced for the poor quality.

I love this chair! It came a week earlier than the original estimated date and it was fairly easy to assemble once you have a critical missing step. The instructions do not mention a cap on the hydraulic mechanism. I assembled per the instructions but the mechanism that lifts/lowers the height was not working. I disassembled and realized that there was a plastic cap on the mechanism. Once I removed that and reassembled, it worked great! Glad I figured that out or I would have been sending it back to the manufacturer mistakenly! They really should amend the instructions to include that step!! I added a photo of the purple cap here in case this happens to anyone else.

Cushion on chair horribly made you cannot seat down for only 5 to 10 minutes poor workmanship

This chair looks nice in the pic but it is very uncomfortable. You have to sit on the lowest setting to fit your legs and the arms of the chair under the desk. This makes it extremely difficult to work at the desk and you can’t reach accross it because you are sitting so low. I cannot comfortably use this chair at the desk and I wish I would’ve unpacked it sooner because I definitely would’ve returned it. When you are not sitting in it, You almost have to force it in sideways to fit the arms under the desk and it scrapes the arms of the chair when you pull it in and out. Extremely disappointed.

Returned chair because hydrolics didn’t work. Was refunded minus $60. Called manufacturer and they said product defect. Shouldn’t have been charged $60 restocking fee
