Perfect size- Works great!
These work perfectly for my rook jewelry changes that have 3mm ball ends. They are finely machined and do not leave any micro-abrasions or scars on the jewelry at all. This brand offered the best price as well. Highly recommended!

This will not work for 3mm tops! The tool's tip, when fully clasped, is at least 4mm in diameter.
This will not work for 3mm tops! The end that is supposed to grip the top has much too big of an opening! The top just slides in and out, without giving you the ability to hold on to it and twist it onto the anchor base. The tool's opening, even when fully clasped, is at least 4mm in diameter. I'm not sure if it would securely grasp a 4mm top, or if you would need the top to top to be 5mm for a really tight grip.
