What an AMAZING Resource!I have been a practicing dentist with my own practice for nearly 20 years. I used Dr Ahearn's ergonomic principles a few years ago when I designed and built a new building for my practice. Not only were the ergonomic principles a life (and back) saver, but the equipment we have been able to integrate into our building has not only made it easier to work, day to day, but it has made us far more efficient and profitable!I wish this book was around then! It would have made the process much easier. But the thing I love about "Your Blueprint for Maximizing Dental Office Productivity" is that I can implement a ton of things even at this point to make our office much better for us to work in and a more amazing experience for our patients.As we get ready to start construction on our next office, you can bet that this book will be my constant companion!!

There are plenty of decent dental practice books out there, but they all seem to be a little too academic in in their approach. THIS book, on the other hand, reads more like a how-to manual than a textbook. And the information it offers is fantastic.After reading this, you’ll look at your practice differently – and you’ll know how to make real process changes to be more productive. There are dozens of tips you can use immediately, and some that take a little more planning… but all of them give concrete, measurable results.I can’t imagine a practice that wouldn’t find something in here to make dentistry easier.

I have been studying the Design Ergonomics website for quite a while and when I got the book I realized how much of the content is there, plus more! I wanted to be able to hand this to someone else to read and get an idea about how Design Ergonomics works without having to point them to different parts of their website. All the information is laid out nicely in sections that are easy to refer back to. We are considering a dental office remodel and this is a great resource on layout as well as improving productivity .

I’m currently in the design phase for an office renovation/expansion. By using the principles in this book, I’ve been able to accommodate more treatment rooms in less square feet which will save me significant money in my build, but more importantly, these principles are creating a much better office flow and so many more efficiencies that it will continue to pay dividends far beyond my design and build.

This book is a necessary guide for every Dentist that desires the most productive and effective clinical practice. I used the principles and products that Dr. Ahearn outlines in this book to design my office space and set up the procedures for delivering the most efficient and ergonomic dentistry possible. I am grateful every day I practice dentistry that I set up my practice using Dr. Ahearn's blueprint and my team and patients love it too!

The concepts of office design, the theories behind efficiency, and the steps to make your office more productive are all covered thoroughly. I've read a ton of dental books and this is my favorite! Well done Dr. Ahearn and Tim Gagnon!

In the early stages of planning for an office expansion/remodel and so glad I read this book at the right time! Plenty of great ideas written in a very concise way. Love all of the pictures and examples provided. Even though the remodel has not started yet, I've already applied some of these pearls to my current office workflow to improve efficiency in our small space in anticipation of growing soon.
