Been using this for years. Love it.

I'm an older guy and used gel to keep my hair in place. One time the girl cutting my hair recommended I try some pommeade. This was the first I tried and I really liked it. It starts out a little like I put a paste or clay in my hair, a bit sticky. But as I brush it in, it gets soft and there's no sticky texture. It is a bit pricey I think, but it lasts 4-5 months! When I ran out of the first jar, I tried some cheaper brands but didn't work nearly as well. I won't switch anymore. I'm on my 5th jar now in several years!

I use this on my hair every 2-3 days. Between days, I just spritz a little water on my hair and re-style. I have used this for at least 5 years and reorder when I am low.

I have used pomade's for many years. I definitely find Redken products to be the best products out there, and this is my go to. Has a nice fresh (but not feminine) scent. You don't need more than a finger tips worth for an all day hold. Recommend applying when hair is "semi-dry". Doesn't want to form well when hair wet, and if hair is bone dry, it clumps. Easy to wash out and doesn't make hair feel greasy or like it's globbed together.

I can get a can of this and use it every day for almost a year without having to buy another can. My hair is 3/4” long at haircut, grows to about 1 1/2” before I cut it again. Holds the hair where I comb it without getting crusty like gel would. Great value.

I've used Aveda, bumble and bumble, and other products... For the price and the flexibility and hold... This is my go-to! In the morning add a little bit of water recomb, and you don't have to add more product... Just to go get coffee of course, lol.
