Great for standard maintenance
No complaints - used during maintenance of a laptop and it's been doing very well with heat management now.

PS5 sub for the Liquid metal.
Playstion 5 kept overheating and shutting down. Took it apart and replaced the liquid metal in the cpu cavity with this stuff in Feb 2025. Works great! Ok, after 6 months and over 400 hours of play, my PS5 started overheating again after my dog knocked the PS5 to the floor. . Took everything apart and found the paste was starting to be more like a gum. The bond appears to have been upset when my dog knocked the PS5 to the floor. Will try again. 8-14-2025 Well it wasn't the paste, that was still good. The problem was the putty in the clamshell of the ps5 mother board. Replaced all of the putty in the clamshell with Maxtor Thermal Pad 16.8 W/mK,120x120x3.0mm. I cut them to size and Ps5 was up and running.

Excellent Result
Worked a miracle for me. Made my R7 2700X with stock Wraith Prism cooler stable under heavy load like Blender.

Not a choice but a necessity!
I thought this would save me but sadly it works same as other cheap paste in market. Only difference is this one costs too much. Since we do not have many good options in this category, I will still end up buying this again and again. The max temp drop I saw was 10 degrees but it doesn’t last more than a week. If you apply it every 15 days on your gaming laptop then sure, you can keep temps under control.
