Is there a maize free (&grain free) kibble suitable for my heavy boned senior Sussex spaniel?

Hi there, have a look at the Arden Grange Sensitive Light/Senior. It's a grain-free fish-based diet that may be of interest to you. The Senior in the orange pack shown here would not meet your criteria as it includes maize (and rice) which are both grains.

What is the difference between the chicken and rice...and the fresh chicken and rice recipes?

Hello, All of the Arden Grange products that include chicken contain fresh chicken. The proportion is dependent on the recipe. The Senior contains 5% fresh chicken (along with 22% chicken meal, and additional protein from egg and krill). If you are looking for a higher fresh chicken content within the range, our Prestige and Performance dry products and Partners Chicken canned food contain the most.
