I have used Amsoil for 40 years but they make it hard to buy and I love buying from Amazon they are amazing just amazing!!! so I thought I would give this German made oil a try.I always test any oil I buy and give it a cold flow test and A hot test .When I gave this oil the hot test I put it in A test tube and hit it with the bernzomatic torch along with mobile 1 extended .Amsoil European formula .Walmart. all of them started smoking and burning immediately except this oil it just sat there bubbling after one min they were all black except this oil.That is what I am looking for in My Porsche turbo.PS I have also tested Amsoil signature series in the past and it was also as good as this oil.

Expensive and Hard to find
Have no idea why this 0W-40 is so expensive now. The price seems to always fluctuate. I get supply and demand, but I feel like the price is to high, it's got me looking for another oil that I can trust.

It's Synthetic, and approved for European Spec Cars, specifically BMW...
Hard to find a good synthetic that is regular cost for the BMW, this fits the bill - as such - the BMW recommends 15k oil changes with this oil, I will probably do 7500 but man, nice to find this for a good price here on Amazon.

Best mass market 0W-40 synthetic oil for german cars
If you own a german car that needs 0W-40 or 5W-40 oil, this is the oil to get. Avoid Castrol 5W-40 "OEM" which is actually inferior formulation (US blend) Get the 0W-40..it is blended in German or Belgium.
