Quicken Willmaker & Trust 2024: Book & Online Software Kit

As advertised. Was able to easily create an account and download software

I bought this in June 2013 & never got around to using it. A couple days after New Year 2024 celebration, I thought I should get down to business & get my house in order & figured I'd give a try to see if I could still use my 2023 version a try. Much to my surprise when I put in the 2023 code, it worked & I now have the 2024 version online!The interface is intuitive & pretty easy to follow. If you get stumped on an area you can skip it & come back later to complete. The online help & suggestions are very useful. I've got a decent size estate with property, multiple investment accounts, a couple of kids & 4 grandkids, plus my lovely lady & I want everyone to get what I want each to have when I kick the bucket, now how the prostate court wants to divvy things up & I will have this completely set up within the next 2 weeks using this great program!Oh yeah, I'll be saving THOUSANDS of dollars not paying a lawyer to do it, probably using templates or software they've bought online!

Spent numerous phone calls and emails to NOLO to get them to send me a link for the software....the code in the book does not work. Very poor setup....this should be a purchase on Amazon that is then a direct download....like many other software purchases on Amazon. NOLO....get with the program...the time I spent talking with your customer service and emails cost you more than what I spent on the software....dumb!

Everything worked good for me. The code inside the book got me write in. I was able to create 3 different documents that are legal. I would recommend.

This Will Maker and Trust software program proved to be exactly what I needed for drafting a basic will and trust. Its user-friendly interface made the process smooth and hassle-free. As someone with straightforward estate planning needs, I found it to be a perfect fit.However, I must emphasize that if your situation is complex or involves intricate legal matters, seeking professional advice from a lawyer is highly recommended. While this software is great for simplicity, it may not address all the nuances of a complex estate. Overall, this software gets the job done efficiently for those seeking a straightforward solution.

Trying to load it on my computer and it is requesting a password from some previous nolo usage. I don't have any password for that and tried getting help on the password. Then they only have help during normal business hours in California time. There should be some type of 24-hour assistance for a large online outfit. Said that they will send instructions to my email and many attempts never got any instructions to my email.

The back of the book contains a code to download the software. I went to the website, entered the code, and the software downloaded within a few minutes. You are given two choices: download the software to a computer/laptop or upload it to the cloud. If you download it to a computer/laptop, it can only be done once (multiple downloads to multiple devices are not permitted). Each document (Will, Medical Directive, etc.) can be created for more than one person—good for all family members. You can save completed documents as PDFs, email them and, of course, print them for required signatures. The software works like TurboTax: simply answer questions and it will guide you through it. The book, while looking intimidating, contains valuable supplemental information in a very easy to understand language. It is written in a way that allows you to jump around from each topic as needed.

I bought this product, and it was delivered the next day. Great! Got to work, and tried to access the software files using the Redemption Code on the back page of the book. It doesn't work! Called Quicken, and they said it's because I bought it from "a third-party provider, Amazon." Send them a pic of cover and redemption code page and they'll get back to me. That was two days ago. Have sent it a couple times now, and no response. Bottom line is, even though it might get worked out, I'm wasting valuable time because I didn't buy directly from Quicken. There should be some sort of disclaimer about this!!!!

The product should specify that this kit is for US residents. Not for Canadian wills.

Complete waste of money. When I loaded software, it redirected me to Quicken's website, which told me I needed to buy an updated version at full price.
