Toasty Warm!!!
I just started hammock camping recently and my old bag was too cold and too awkward to get into in the hammock. I decided to buy a 0deg bag as a replacement for my old 20deg mummy bag which just didn't fit me anymore. I have set it up with the hammock in the back yard and it seemed great. Last weekend I went camping and there were no trees to set up my hammock :-( so I used it in my tent on the ground with a therm-a-rest scout pad inside. We had temps in the upper 20's low 30's over night and I felt toasty and warm inside my new bag. Plenty of room for me inside to move around. Can't wait to use it with my hammock!Update 2021! Been using this bag for 2 years now on numerous Scout camping trips. I still love it. I Find that I am never cold - in fact sometimes I need to unzip it to cool off a bit. My only complaint is when you un-zip it, the double ended zipper comes apart at my feet and it is hard to get back together when lying in the hammock. Its a great bag for hammocks. I need to get another 2 for my boys!

Hyke & Byke Crestone Sleeping Bag the Best!
I am really excited about my new Crestone Bag. I am a 66 year old woman who likes to sleep in my hammock in our tree platform and my current equipment was not going to let me continue doing that through the winter in Oregon. My husband searched and suggested that I look into the Crestone 15 to 0 degree hammock sleeping bag. I purchased it and haven't wanted to get out of it since. I love this thing. No more cold hips and shoulders It is comfortable and just the right size for me, although it is certainly big enough to handle a good sized person comfortably. The workmanship and quality are wonderful. Not much more to say when something is Perfect. Thanks for the great solution to this old girl's cold bones.Best,-k-

Great for hammocking, not for ground sleeping
Bought the 0 degree long for a hammocking/camping trip in the mountains anticipating a drastic temp drop through the night. I'm 6'1, 200 and this has been more than adequate for my single nest.Hammocking: After a big storm, some close calls with lightning and a tornado, and a 50F temp drop in 6 hours, I needed this thing. When we arrived it was sunny and just over 70F, after the aforementioned storm cleared up we were met with constant 40mph winds and gusts to 70mph. When the temps started to dip below freezing I broke this thing out and slipped my hammock and underquilt through. The extra insulation was absolutely needed but turned out to be more than enough. After an hour of my body heating things up, even the insane winds couldn't pull the heat out of the cocoon I was in. Had to zip it open a quarter of the way, despite the weather. I'm 6'1, 200lb and was worried about the length, so I ordered the long. Its kinda long enough but with an underquilt inside it pulls the bag down too far, made it touch my feet and they became somewhat chilled. Ideally you don't want to be pushing on any of the insulation. Other than that, without an underquilt in, it worked extremely well the following, equally cold night.Ground: I use a 2.5in Teton pad to insulate from cold ground and depending on the terrain, rocks. Even with that my underside was cold. The bag isn't really designed for the ground. The insulation isn't really thicc enough to be compacted and maintain it's properties.Pros:Great for hammocking, provided you dress and set up properlyMakes for an incredible, overkill "underquilt" in 40-60F calm weatherLightweight, for its sizePacks down pretty small, again, for its sizeCons:Bag material sticks to anything sweaty and sticks to your face when your breath dampens itNot hearty enough insulation to make a cold weather ground sleeping bag out ofFeels like it will tear very easilyAll in all, I am pleased with my purchase and have used it several times, but if it came down to it I probably wouldn't buy another from this brand. But I sure am glad I bought this one, especially after that first trip.TLDR: read title

Very nice bag for the money
As far as cool/cold weather options for hammock camping go I think I prefer a bag like this over an underquilt. It is roomy and comfortable and crazy warm. Bags of this quality are not cheap and I feel like this brand has fair prices. I hope to get a lot of use out of this product. I definitely recommend.

Highly recommend
Amazing! Best sleeping system I have ever used. I have tried other hammock pods but this one keeps me warmest. I love it when i take it backpacking and it’s by far the quickest set up and everyone looks at you like you are a butterfly in a cocoon and that you are crazy for not having a pad or a tent then we go to bed and nomine sleeps well except me and my wife in our pods as we were warm and dry all night every night. If you hammock it’s a must it’s sooo much better than any sleep system with a hammock as it leaves you so much more to move around in your hammock and stay warm.

Great bag!
I just got back from my first trip with this bag and I love it. I’m 6’2 235lbs and I fit very well in the Large bag around my hammock and a thick sleeping pad inside. I have the 0° bag and had to unzip about halfway in mid 30’s because I was too hot our first night. There were no drafts at my head or feet where the hammock came into that bag which surprised me. The compression sack is a weird design but it works with some effort. If you hammock camp in cold weather this bag is very worth it. Especially since it is so inexpensive compared to other down bags.
