I've shocked myself and it is a SUPER STRONG too. An ideal correction tool for use in ABSOLUTELY necessary moments of correction. I use the shock function when my puppies try to pick up junk food off the streets of NYC. I use the lowest shock function i could feel on myself that hurt. I ONLY use it when they try to pick up chicken bones or other garbage left on NYC sidewalks. When I run them in the park, the vibrate button works extremely well to get their attention with a call. Never had to use the shock function to get their attention and return to me. I LOVE THIS! !! SUPER LIGHT, SUPER EASY REMOTE CONTROL.Looks SUPER NICE TOO! !! LOVE IT~ WORKS SOOOOO WELL! !! I especially love it doesn't have a pole for antenna, yet has a SUUUUUUUPER distant range. I have a 15 acre property and i could barely see my dogs and they didn't respond to my calls until I used the vibrate function and they came running back to me IMMEDIATELY! ! ! I was super excited to see such great results and relieved I didn't have to use the shock function to bring them running back to me! ! Did I mention i LOVE how it doesnt have nor need a violating pole antenna!?!?

Got this for my 2 dogs. We don’t use shock, just sound and vibrate work great. I’m not sure if it’s been about 2 months since we bought but I only charged them at the initial set up and they still show plenty of battery life. In addition, I like the light u can turn on at nighttime.

I love the compactness of this transmitter, but it stopped working after just a few weeks. Luckily I was able to return it to Amazon within the window, but I've had it with low-priced ecollars. Now I have a Dogtra 202C and I've had great success with it. Its simplicity is perfect for my needs. (I've been training competition retrievers for 20 years.)

We have two 10 pound dogs, and I love that one remote controls both collars, yet each collar has it’s own setting with the one remote. I also like that I have the option of the beep, vibrate and shock so they aren’t just getting immediately shocked. After some training with our dogs, they now stop bad behaviors with just a beep. Very easy to use! Great quality! The charge keeps forever, but are very quick and easy to charge when necessary

The smaller size of the new design is nice as is the guard over the button that controls the level of correction. The previous design with the screw-posts that held the attached collar to the device was more convenient for people who want to attach the device to their existing collar and not use the included collar. The new design required modification in order to get the device to attach to the dogs existing collar. The levels of correction seem adequate with the volume of the beep being loud and the vibration intensity good. The LED light is very helpful for when the dogs are out in the dark. The charging port has been changed to USB-C which is more convenient to use, and the new collar is now able to charge when plugged in to a high-output quick charger; the previous version would not charge and needed to be plugged in to a regular charger.

OT for me

We use both for our standard 65 pound poodles. It’s easy to switch from 1 to 2 and direct the buzz or shock to a specific dog for training.
