Unbreakable Camping Mirror - Backpack Approved

This was just what I was looking for in a travel mirror. I have hard contacts and need a horizontal mirror to place and remove them. I was traveling with a regular mirror and worried about breakage and space when packing. This is small and perfect for my use. I chose this version because it includes the pouch to protect the mirror it works and is great for cleaning the mirror as well. It is heavier than I expected, very sturdy, backpackers who cut of handles of toothbrushes probably want something lighter.Could be used as a signal mirror as well, the hole in the end used as a sight.

This mirror would be very good for camping. It's large enough to see your face and has a hole so it could be hung up at a camp site. It was a little too heavy for my purpose. I wanted to tape or glue it into a child's book, but it would have added too much weight and thickness. For its intended purpose the weight would be an advantage, making it very sturdy. The little cloth bag is great for storage.

One side is polished to a mirror shine, the other is a flat matte. The gauge of the stainless steel is heavy enough to avoid most accidental bending or dimples. The image was good enough to easily shave with in the shower. I will use this for hiking/camping for shaving and personal first aid, if necessary. The weight is substantial compared to an acrylic mirror, however, I have had three acrylic mirrors get broken in my soft pack while using and camping, so I figure this will be a better long term investment. All things being equal, this should last a lifetime.

Wow! I never expected that polished metal could produce such a fine mirror. Just like a glass one. Exceptional mirror. Well worth it.

It was a little smaller than I expected but seems sturdy and well made

Use them at work to reflect the sunlight down wells. The brightness is brighter than most flashlights and doesn’t need batteries. Great to have camping and hiking and checking yourself out if you’re pretty enough I suppose.

Very well made, this mirror can be used for signaling your location in the event of an emergency yet it is small and sturdy and can easily be carried in a pocket.

I bought one of these a few years ago. Used it in the shower and then at the gym. It’s metal so it can get scratched up but honestly; who cares? You can see to shave or comb your hair or whatever. I misplaced mine in a move so I bought two...will get another so I always have one of these. Mine arrived flat but if it bends just bend it back out.
