Friend needed something to enjoy and keep her busy. She loved doing these paint by number pictures

I have probably purchased a hundred of these over the past 8 years, all from different sellers. Sometimes the paint is dry and hard as rock, sometimes the paint is thin, sometimes the paint is gooey like glue… these paints were wonderful and the numbers were easy to read and they have more than number per section (otherwise you can lose track). I would have given this 5 stars except there was not enough paint to complete it :(If you look at the first photo with blank spots and a larger section I highlighted.. that is because that paint color ran out. I tried conserving but it was no where near enough so unfortunately I couldn’t finish it.(The second painting is almost finished but I’m still working on it)Just bought two more sets from this seller and am hoping I will have better luck because these were some of my favorites

Good quality paints, paint sections very easy to define.

I really want to like the kit I got. One piece has less detail and is very relaxing. The other, however, has far too many details crammed together making it nearly impossible to read the numbers, much less distinguish the border of the area you're supposed to paint. The paints themselves are quite thick making it difficult to apply, and if you thin them you overcome this multiple layers are required for good coverage. The kits are a great price though, but be ready for a real challenge or labor of love if you choose something detailed.

Easy to use and exactly as expected.

I’m at the age where small print is hard to see, but I haven’t gotten glasses yet. Some of the numbers are very small, BUT my 7 year old is having the time of her life painting this. It does come with a small colored painting, to show you what it’s supposed to look like. I will staple it to a canvas when I have a minute, but for now I just used shipping tape to secure the top and bottom to the frame of a blank canvas I bought at the store. I can’t wait to see the finished painting!

The white background picture was fine. The black background was impossible. You can't make out the numbers and the areas to paint are as big as an "o" in this review. So I paid $20 for 1 beginner painting. Not happy

The four edges of the canvas were different lenghths. the 2 canvas ends were okay but the top and bottom were short. Usual rule of thumb is that you need 1 1/4-1 3/4 inches to go around the frame. The two ends were okay but the top and bottom were a little short and hard to stretch the canvas with pliers.
