Positive Affirmations for Black Kids: Thoughtful Affirmations Designed to Increase Self-Confidence, Instill Self-Esteem, Grow Resilience, and Encourage Self-Love

This has been a wonderful book to read. I thought it was a great idea for me to write down quite a few of these affirmations and put them in a jar and have my daughters pick one every single day and read one. Some kids are not poured into daily and you always want to start their day off great, because they may not get that same love when going to school. You never know how someone else’s day is going and they may lash out on someone and not really intend on it, but it can hurt a child’s feelings. I want my daughters to grow up and say that mommy and daddy poured in to us. So that they can do the same for their children and so forth on these stood out to me in an amazing way as well because I am big on positivity and affirmations myself. I can use some of these in my daily life. It is great to mention the affirmations out loud so that you can truly believe in the affirmation. I am so honored to be able to read this book and wish the author so much success!

Thank you for the chance to view this book. I enjoyed the words of affirmation that were in it. I did not give this book to my children because I knew they would not have read it (50/50 chance). But with one kid in college and another one in middle school. I always like to send my children a little pick-me-up. Especially when I know that they are going through something. I Wish I had this last year when I sent my college student a jar of encouraging words. This would have been perfect.It does not matter if you give this to your children to read for themselves or pick out something to give them to focus on. This a great book to have.

The variety in content and complexity of these affirmations make this book excellent for children of all ages as well as young adults. It is easy to read because of how it's organized. I will include many of these in my affirmation station at work.

I got this book to encourage and most importantly, to affirm to my grandsons how special they are! This book will be a welcome addition to add to our nightly affirmations. Our kids need to know they are smart, they are kind, they are loved, they are blessed, and they are capable of doing great things. Thank you to the author for writing this book and sharing it with the world!

I really enjoyed reading the affirmations. I have not read them all. I use them to send to my kids in our group messages to help lift them up and encourage them, especially when I don’t have the words myself to say I thought that it was gonna have more for my people or for my black child my brown skin daughter, my brown and son, but they were just general, which is still good. Nothing bad.

I love this book!! The affirmations are wonderful and appropriate for both boys and girls. I even like some of them for myself!😊I highly recommend this book.
