I bought this for my Sister, she has fallen and fractured her hip. I will use this to take her to her Dr. Appts.

I purchased this item back in November of 2004 believing we would be getting a second vehicle so I would not have to constantly carry a charger for my Inogen with me. Unfortunately things with the new vehicle did not pan out so I strictly had this as an extra charger. I finally got around to using it yesterday for the first time as a backup to my original charger and it's worthless. It will not stay connected. I plug it into my cigarette lighter/ power outlet in my vehicle and it charges and then stopped charging and charges and then stops charging. No it is not my port, everything else that I have plugged into that part including my original Inogen charger work perfectly. It is this charger. I doubt it quit working while it wasn't being used on a shelf for 3 and 1/2 months but I could be wrong, I deeply suspect it was a POS the day it was shipped. Unfortunately I did not use it before my window of return closed and that is entirely my fault. So buyer beware. It gets a lot of good reviews, but I am deeply disappointed and also out $17 plus tax.
