FIFINE AmpliTank K688T Dynamic Microphone Set, Podcast XLR/USB Mic

This is a great budget microphone, especially if you are a new content creator, online teacher, podcaster, streamer, or someone trying to improve your audio without spending a lot of money. One of the best things about this kit is that it comes with the accessories you need to get started. You do not have to buy everything separately, which makes it a great value for the price. As a content creator, I really like how flexible this mic is. You can connect it directly to your computer through USB and start recording right away, or you can use the XLR connection with a mixer or audio interface for a more professional setup. I also like that it has a mute button directly on the microphone, which is very convenient for recording, livestreaming, Zoom calls, or online teaching. The sound quality is very good for the price. It gives you a clean, solid sound and is a strong option for anyone just getting started with content creation or podcasting. Overall, I think this mic is a bargain and a great starter setup for creators who want better audio without overcomplicating things.

Extremely impressed with quality and ease of use. Straight forward set up and use process with no need for special software or apps. Does a wonderful job of blocking out background noise and coming in clear for those I chat with. So far feels quite sturdy and durable with no issues so far of looking like i will have any issues. Comes with a great cord that is quite long making it easy to set up anywhere on your desk to fit your needs. It's quite easy to adjust and move to fit you needs through out the way if your someone who likes to adjust you set up alot. When you find a spot you like it does a great job of holding that position without moving on it owns at all. It's designed in a way that makes it easy to cable a manage a cord to it and have it move with it so that you don't have a hanging cable or a cable that gets messed up when moving it around or adjusting it.

Absolutely incredible, especially for the price. It sounds like a professional set up out of the box and sounds even better with a few adjustments. The arm is very durable and versatile and the shock mount keeps light desk vibrations from affecting the sound.

setting this mic up was easy, i didn’t have to look at any instructions. the size is not too big or bulky for my small desk area. however i wish the mic arm was more flexible, it doesn’t bend from the stem itself. you will need to put effort to adjust the mic but not moving it side to side with the 180 rotation. shock absorber does a great job, and the mic sounds pretty good. i mainly use this while playing/talking to friends. i recommend using OBS to elevate audio quality and noise suppression. overall, it works alright for my personal setup

Good mic quality either for streaming and discord talking with friends and Xbox’s party’s it has a good dynamic range and easy access to mute easy to setup and light I love it

This mic is amazing. I highly recommend looking at videos of how it sounds before buying because it might not be for everyone. Th mic quality is amazing, and the price for it is very great. The pose ability shocked me and fit onto my cramped desk just fine. It was fairly easy to use, all you have to do to set it up is push on the clamp to the boom arm and screw on the microphone to the stand. You can adjust the mic in all kinds of ways, whether you want it upside down or below your mouth, you can change the angle and the direction. And all you have to do for connectivity is connect the cord to your computer, go into your input and output in settings and you’ll see “fifine microphone” and boom, there is your mic. My only problem is it is very sensitive on its own and picks up a lot of background noise, but overall great mic.

I was very skeptical about how good the quality would be fore the price. But having previously purchased and tried many other FiFine mics and having been pleasantly surprised before I decided to give this one a shot. PROS 1. For a budget podcast, streaming, and audiobook microphone it is great. 2. It has enough clarity in the high end and enough richness in the low end to fit a lot of voices. 3. The desk arm mount is sturdy and built a lot better than most mic and desk mount bundles. 4. It works well on my iPhone, iPad, PC and mixer. As long as you have the right adapter it works very well. CONS; 1. It’s a little to sensitive to don’t touch it too much or bang on the desk while recording. 2. It’s light and doesn't have the best shielding so keep you iPhone/smart devices away from the capsule. 3. Because it has a more light weight aluminum body it king of rings slightly if you pop the mic with plosives. But you shouldn’t do that any way. 4. Though it works with iPhones, iPads, and other smart devices, it’s kind of quiet through the USB option. But sounds much better and louder through the XLR port. Over all, this is a great mic for anyone looking to create their own content and looking to start with something that would operate effectively with most setups on really any device.

I must say, when buying microphones like this, I'm always weary of the low price tag as many times "cheap = junk". This is NOT the case for the FIFINE K688, as you would quite literally never know this was a cheap microphone if you saw it sitting on someone's desk without content. I've tried out multiple microphones throughout my tenure, and constantly strive to find the next best option, and I think this one might be it. The arm itself isn't the sturdiest, so I'm not sure how it may hold up longevity wise, and I wish maybe it had a track for hiding wires, but man, it gets the job done. Price wise, no complaints here, I feel like I certainly got my monies worth and then some. They could easily sell this for 50% more than the current price, and people, it would STILL be a bargain. If you're looking for a high quality, premium sounding microphone for streaming, podcasting, YouTube videos- this is the one.
