22mm Rubber Strap CB09 Curved End Watch Band for Seiko Samurai Prospex Automatic Dive Watch SRPB51, SRPB09, SRPB53, SBDY007, SBDY009, SBDY011, SBDY019, SBDY025, SBDY029 etc

This strap is several levels beyond the stock Seiko strap on my King Samurai. Wow. Feels much more substantial and equal to the bulk of the watch itself. The look of the watch is also elevated as the strap perfectly aligns with the case. Yes, there is a tiny bit of play between the lugs but you don't experience it on wrist. The only downside I can see thus far is that strap makes finding a spot to rotate the bezel even more difficult than before. Looking forward to seeing how the strap wears over the next few weeks of warm weather. Will update if there are any issues with the rubber. Light scent now but doesn't smell cheap or toxic. Overall very pleased that I made the purchase. UPDATE: After one week -- I am sad to say that this strap's rubber is a big problem for me. If you are sensitive to particular type of materials (as I guess I am) this strap will cause irritation when used directly on your skin. Maybe this strap is best suited for use over a dive suit. I did some more research online and apparently this is an issue for a small percentage of users. It's really too bad as it is aesthetically VERY pleasing with my King Samurai.

* EDIT* Crafted blue responded extremely quickly to my email and sent me a new set in 2 days: quicker than amazon themselves did. Excellent customer service and the strap is amazing!!! Not sure what happened, but one end didn’t fit and the other end fit between the lugs perfectly. It came cut straight across and not curved for the watch. I whittled the middle away, but even the corners don’t reach up to the watch. The strap is super comfortable and high quality, but i was very disappointed that it came like this. Would gladly change my rating if the bottom strap were fixed.

I bought this band from a review and they said it was for the seiko skx... when I went to the watch shop it could not be fitted properly so I decided to send it back..... beautiful band though

This strap is very nice material, great color and fitment at lug, but it is rigid and does not provide a flat comfortable fit on wrist. The keeper does not do a good job of retaining strap end, and the strap constantly comes out. Not a great option.

I bought this strap for my Seiko SRPE37J "King Samurai" after watching a Youtuber review the strap and I have to say it is MUCH better than the original strap the watch came with. It easily elevates the look of the watch by making the strap look like it's actually a part of the watch as it attaches seemlessly to the lugs. The strap seems to be made of very high quality materials and is flexible and very comfortable. If you have a Seiko Samurai, this IS the strap to get.

The color is very classy dark blue, it fits perfect, easy to install with enclosed spring bars. Beyond all that it looks amazing on my Seiko Samurai. Best looking aftermarket dive strap I’ve used by far. Nice job Crafter Blue !!!!!!

These straps look and feel great. However, they DO NOT SECURELY ATTACH TO THE WATCH. This is a major issue with the spring bars provided. Since the straps are rubber, if you snag them parallel to the spring bars, they will depress enough to separate from the watch. Luckily, this happened to me when I caught my watch band on the shifter in my car, so I was able to recover it. But this could have been much worse! I would greatly recommend upgrading to a pair of shoulderless spring bars that will actually attach the band securely to the watch case. Since this band is made specifically for the Seiko Samurai case (which has drilled lugs) there is no reason these more secure, shoulderless bars should not be included. Having to spend another $10 on a pair of spring bars for this expensive of a band is ridiculous.

The look and fit are spot-on, but comfort is another story. Unlike the softer SKK/SKX straps, this one’s quite rigid and heavy. It doesn’t flex nicely around the wrist, making it uncomfortable .

Fits perfect on the Samurai.

It fits and looks awesome but way to hard if a compound. Doesn’t flex well and hurts wrist.
