I first tried using a baster to siphon out the water and quickly realized that was going to take forever. A wet-dry vac was another possible solution, but I really didn’t want to invest in one. Gratefully, I found this little Wekster Multi-purpose Siphon on desertcart and ordered it. It arrived in a couple of days and worked like a charm! I got the standing water pumped out of the bottom of the dishwasher in only a few minutes. Apparently, it can also be used for siphoning gas or oil out of a car, but that’s something I will likely never attempt. I’m really happy with this purchase. Even if I only use it once, the price was reasonable, and it did what I was hoping it would do.
