Was looking to get something for photographing trading and collectible card game parts, having built up many thousands of duplicates that I wanted to sell on. This box is pretty good so far - it arrived flat packed and assembly was very straight-forward. Instructions were fairly clear and there were no complicated steps, everything fell into place. It can also collapse down again when not in use and a handy carry bag was included for storing. The box has a ring light included on the ceiling with a 10-step dimmer and power switch on a controller halfway along a standard USB cable (USB-C would have been nice but not too bothered). No plug adaptor was present but that's minor as I'm using the box near many other adaptors. Several colour variations were included for the swappable background which was a nice touch. Once assembled there is a removable door on the front side for taking photos through, a second option is available with a second aperture on the ceiling (inside the ring light). This is ideal as I can stand-up my cards and photograph from the front, alternatively I can lay-flat and take a shot from the top for the slightly bigger items. The size was as-expected, 30cm cube and easy enough to fit my items in via the large front opening. All in all I'm happy, was even on a special offer price so good time to get a bargain!

Definitely a great purchase, I have bought a couple of photo boxes in the past but this one is amazing due to quality, lighting, size , sturdy and all the different ways you can take pictures. Plus so easy to fold away and put in the bag it comes in. I use it for taking pictures of my handmade jewellery and hair accessories i make etc for my website. Plus great with different adjustments of lighting. Definitely worth it , had looked at so many different ones , looked at so many of peoples reviews but glad I purchased this one.

Bought for taking professional images of products for listing on websites. It works really well. Has a ring of leds that provide the light. Brightness is adjustable. It also comes with a variety of interchangeable background colours. There is a hole on the top and at the front that you can use to take photos from either angle. There is also diffuser for more reflective products to reduce the glare from the light. Great piece of kit and gives you all you need to take professional photos at a good price.

I don't usually leave reviews on stuff I buy but for this? I have to step out and speak up. This is truly an amazing purchase and definitely a recommendation to anyone doing photography, especially those doing jewellery, miniature or toy etc (like me). The backdrops are great quality and easy to slot in. The light box truly is a simple set up and stored with a carry case. Brightness is perfect. Diffuser clothes work.. Honestly I have nothing negative to say. It's made my photography improve tenfold by having the perfect light and a variety of backdrops at hand. 10/10. Across the board

The quality of materials and ease of setting this up is really useful. I’ve been using it for a few months now, so have had time to use it for various items and note the good and bad points. * The top flap is really useful for photographing items ‘directly above’ - glad to have that. * The background sheets are all in useful colours. Good quality, easy to install. * 40cm/16” size is very good for most items. *reflective silver sides and front ‘door’ too - handy. Bad point - the ring of LED’s above is way too low light on its highest setting. It’s a significant point because its stalled my work progress, and im now currently thinking of ways to modify the design by installing slim-line lighting panels. I’m using a SLR digi cam, not a phone camera - phone camera adjusts for the low light but the pictures look like phone pix. The SLR struggles. Also, because the lights are from above, the front of the objects are in shadow. This is with using white deflectors/background. The ring of LED’s show on any item youre photographing thats shiny, like glass, metal. The diffuser cloth shuts down the light significantly, causing low-light issue to be worse. Ideally there needs to be diffused side light panels aswell as top panels. A mere 20w of ring LED’s doesn’t give enough light power. There’s another photo booth with side and top lighting on amazon, go for that!
