Absolutely brilliant piece of kit.
After buying and returning a similar product(HANMATEK Ti120) that was unfortunately a cheap copy of a thermal imager that failed in all aspects to impress. This product is the complete opposite in as much as it totally impresses from the moment of opening its box. Very high build quality,3.2 inch lcd screen with High resolution 240x192, plus enhanced super IR 320x240, Wi-Fi connectivity with its own Hotspot for linking to tablets, phone handsets, etc for report writing, sharing with others, and now supplied with a decent protective carry case and shoulder strap, plus so many functions as you would expect from a much more expensive FLIR Camera. Used straight out of the box it was so easy to get to grips with the operational functions, and I made a host of usefull saved images around the house that gave so much information of cold air leaks that I am now able to correct the heat losses in our home with ease. It has a capture range adjustable from macro for closeups to 50mtr range that aids for external survey of buildings, equipment, to carry out a complete analysis of thermal losses that means this tool will pay for itself time and time again. 3 year product guarantee, a 10 year guarantee on the sensor, with lifetime firmware upgrades & support. Totally recommended and at £219 really great value for money and a best buy for me.

Good step up with better screen and resolution.
Really impressive bit of kit that gives excellent detailed images. A good step up from the lower resolution units and well worth paying the extra from the bigger screen and higher quality pictures and additional features.

Easy to use, works well.
This is quite an impressive handheld device for detecting hot and cold spots. It's perfect for both professionals and those wanting to use it for recreational use, like photography for example. The device itself works straight out of the box. There's an inbuilt menu allowing storage of captured images, plus there's a range of image settings depending on your required use. There's plenty of colour palettes available, with more available via the app. The device can connect to a mobile phone or tablet via WiFi, although if I'm honest, I would've preferred Bluetooth for this, especially as we found the imaging camera was for the most part, difficult to detect via WiFi. My Pixel phone was completely unable to detect and connect with it, however my husband had success with his Oppo phone. Having a WiFi connection when you're out and about could also be an issue. The app is quite good and has nice additional features plus you can record video and save both video and pictures to your mobile device, aswell as sharing them with others. This is made quite frustrating if you can't connect the camera to the app though. The camera works impressively well capturing hot and cold temperatures on a colour scale. It's incredibly easy to use and images can be saved to the camera with a press of the trigger button. These pictures are saved into a folder on the camera. Photos can also be transferred to a pc via the included cable, which is especially handy if you can't access the app. It comes nicely packaged with basic instructions and a charging lead, along with a plug and various regional adapters. It doesn't take too long to charge and when mine arrived, it was already fully charged. The battery seems to last a good long while too. Overall it's a handy device that works incredibly well. My only gripes are the price point and the issues with the app/WiFi connectivity.

This thing is awesome, I can see my farts!
I bought this to help diagnose issues with cooling inside a large pc case, it’s brilliant for seeing where the heat is building and what differences in fan profile changes makes. I now have a system that’s been tweaked to perfection. However, this came with an unexpected and rather hilarious use case that I hadn’t even considered. When my good lady was asking me what that thing was with the odd images on it obviously I explained that it’s a thermal imaging camera, when she asked to look at it she pointed it at me just as I let rip the kind of trouser trump that any man would be proud of, this was accompanied by a raucous bout of laughter as the camera picked up said eruption showing the temperature difference it caused in the room. Literally hours of fun have ensued since. Five stars all the way

Good quality thermal camera,
Very good quality tool, would be great to have a macro lens for close up surface mount electronics repair, refresh rate is sufficient to see breifly heating components

More uses than you know
If you're into DIY you NEED this, there's no way I could list all the uses, it sees what you can't, for example, how much propane is in your BBQ bottle? I don't know, but it does... It can see where the wires are that feed your outlets... It can see blockages in your drain pipes (just run some hot water and look for cold spots)... Does your flue have build up? It can show you... Don't get me started on "car stuff" if you do car stuff, just buy one... Over heating issues, brakes, even wheel alignment on race cars, fuel injector performance, vapour lock in fuel lines... All visible for the first time...

Found all leaks of heat. Even discovered big leaks that I would never have found otherwise. Strongly reccomend this product
