Hydrating Face Primer

First impressions: Compared to other primers I have tried (from Loreal and Revlon to name a few) I was surprised at how silky this primer felt. It took a little getting used to at first, but it was actually very pleasant. Application and quality: As for how it worked as a base, I am very pleased with it. It made the application of my foundation super smooth and did a good job blurring my pores. I am prone to oil on certain parts of my face, and was a bit worried that the hydrating aspect of the primer and the silkiness might contribute to an oily appearance, but with my use of it so far, I've not had any such troubles. It leaves my skin nice and matt, but feeling hydrated. It's incredibly lightweight, so it's fantastic if you don't like the feeling of having a lot on your skin. Value for money: I would say it's worth it. The price seems standard for primer, the quality is great, and a little primer goes a long way so it should last a while.

This review is of the hydrating face primer. I love this stuff, it feels wonderful on my skin and glides over it allowing very easy foundation application. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. I would say it’s more suitable to dry skin as the name suggests, it’s hydrating. Will buy again!

While I had mixed feelings about this primer, my niece, who has different skin concerns, absolutely loves it. She has dry skin and found that this primer provided the perfect amount of hydration for her. It also helped to prolong the wear of her makeup and created a smooth base for foundation. In conclusion, the elf Hydrating Face Primer is a lightweight and hydrating option that provides a natural matte finish. While it didn't completely meet my personal expectations in terms of pore-filling and line-smoothing abilities, it has proven to be a great fit for my niece's dry skin. If you have similar skin concerns, this primer may be worth a try.

Lovely face primer , gives a soft glow on skin

its ok it keeps makeup on for a bit longer but makes my face feel greasy and if i accidentally touch my face it leaves fingerprints everywhere. make sure you put lashes on before applying this.

Easy to apply very smooth and worth using under foundation, a little goes a long way

I was looking for a primer that would be great for dry skin. This primer was great at blurring pores and creating a smooth base for makeup to go on but for me it felt oily rather than hydrating so when putting on makeup, it felt like it was slipping off and no hydrating my skin.

Non mi aspettavo molto da questo primer, invece mi ha stupito. Appena lo metto sento la pelle più morbida e uniforme, senza quella sensazione appiccicosa che odio nei prodotti simili. Si stende bene e non serve metterne tanto. A me aiuta a far durare di più il trucco e a non far uscire quelle zone secche che di solito si vedono dopo qualche ora. Nel complesso mi ci sto trovando bene e penso che lo ricomprerò.
