I bought this for my mum, who has had 2 knee replacement surgery's but still has pain and swelling at times. During a flare up, she said to me she wished she could get hold of the bandage the hospital was trialing during her recovery and described it to me. After a quick Google search, I found that these are the consumer end result of those trials. Although it sounded slightly different to the one she had in hospital, I got one for her to try and she told me it's perfect and works the same way. She likes the convenience of not having to time it as with traditional cold packs to avoid "cold damage". Comfortable, easy to use and helps no end. Reusable with the liquid also available on Amazon. Comes in 2 sizes, wider for knee/leg and narrower for wrists/ankles/elbows. There were cheaper alternatives but I stuck with this brand as it was trialed by the NHS. Overall, well worth the money and highly recommended!

I actually bought this for my senior horse as she’s got arthritis and being stabled in the winter her hind legs swell. I wrapped these day and night for 20 min, i no longer have to bandage her legs at night. Bigger bottles of replacement would be better as i use so much. This is perfect for after riding aswell to bring down any swelling. Be careful as i dont believe its tested on horses before so could have a reaction to sensitive skin or open wounds. Speak to supplier or vet to make sure its suitable. I highly recommend for hock arthritis and ive been using this for months with amazing results and a very happy horse.

Just had replacement knee surgery and was recommended to this by the physio, works really well by drawing the heat out of the muscles thereby controlling the swelling.

I bought this to help reduce the swelling after I had total knee replacement surgery. It is perfect for the job and can be reused over and over. Just need to top it up with the Physicool solution that is also on Amazon and job done. Helped a treat with my knee.
