These coffee filters are a good quality and price. They are thin enough that the water drains through fast enough, and thick enough that they don't tear. When putting them in the basket to make coffee, if the basket it wet, they adhere nicely to the bottom of the basket so you can press it down with your fingers and create a nice, neat seal around the edges so the coffee grounds do not go through it. We have a 4-cup percolator so the basket is 3-1/2 inches wide. These filters are about 1/2" wider but it actually works great!

I love percolated coffee but have a problem with coffee grinds at the bottom of my cup. In the past, I have had to strain the coffee to get the grinds out which felt tedious to me. These filters do what they claim When using coffee grounds for drip coffee, I placed one filter on the bottom of the grinds and one filter on the top of the grinds. This worked perfectly. The add claims that the coffee filters pull the bitterness out of the coffee. To put to the test, I used the same coffee brand as I did with my old filters and the coffee actually tasted better with these new filters.

I bought these for our 9 cup percolator. They fit perfectly and work great at preventing the grounds from escaping the basket.

Good quality and just what I was after

These are essential when using pre-ground coffee. The grounds do not get in the perked coffee. And I also use a fresh one in my saucer to catch drips from the coffee cup.
