I recently purchased this mount for the Model 3 and was initially worried that the negative reviews would hold true. I'm glad I did and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. For the reviewers that talk about damaging the screen, I don't know how you can over tighten without using common sense, it doesn't need gorilla torque to keep the mount and phone securely in place. I'm an Uber driver, so I'm in my car a LOT. This mount has been able to withstand near constant use for 10-12 hours a day every day for the past two weeks, and has not given me the slightest trouble. I was able to set the arm of the mount to the angle I wanted, and secure it in place, all within the span of a few minutes. Fits snugly to the corner of the screen with no problems. Don't worry about over-tightening, unless you're using tools or have superhuman strength, it's nearly impossible to do. Magnet strength is perfect, they held my phone securely in place until I'm ready to take it off myself. Has not fallen once. Super easy to use, as well. Hands down the best value for the price, could not recommend higher for those who have compatible phones and/or cases. You will not be disappointed.

I really wanted to love this item. The item arrived and the screen mount was tight and secure. Unfortunately the ball mount for the magnetic area was broken in such a way the magnet spun so the phone never stayed upright. I returned and requested a replacement. When the replacement arrived, the screen mount was broken and it would not tighten on the screen. It seems like maybe my replacement was a return of another defective item. I really want to love this item and can see it having potential but the quality control makes it a deal breaker. Wish this was better.

TLDR: Ugly, Functional, Solid, Smart Design, Modify-able The magnet is a standard ball type mount that is easily swappable. I replaced mine with a Genuine MagSafe charger on a modified ball mount. The mount itself is super solid, only point that isn’t super solid is the single point ball mount which allows heavier phones to bounce around slightly. BUT only slightly and if that doesn’t bother you this is an amazing mount! No adhesives, just friction from a screw down base. The arm that your phone mounts to is also slightly elevated above the screen so your phone buttons are accessible and the phone doesn’t clash with the main screen.

This device does what it says. It attaches to the tesla screen and swivels easily to allow you to put your phone in landscape or portrait mode. I always hated having my phone attached to the windshield, and I didn't like the idea of putting 3m tape on any part of my dash or screen. This product holds firmly onto the screen with minimal shake during driving. And it is easy to adjust and holds pretty strongly. You do have to have an iphone with magsafe or get a magsafe case for your android phone. My phone is heavy and it still holds well. I only took away one star because occasionally my phone will pop off if I go over a large bump. I would say, don't hesitate to get this if you need a device for your tesla to hold your magsafe compatible phone!

This is my 3rd phone mount and this one is the best so far! No stupid double sided tape! Mount is secure and magnet works great! This mount deserves more love as it works so great! Also if you’re concern about it damaging the screen it won’t damage it if you don’t over tighten it. When installing it may seem like it’s loose because you can still turn the knob but honestly once the knob gets snug to turn that’s all you need, there’s no need to overdo it and potentially ruin the screen!

I liked that it held onto my Tesla screen well without applying tape, positioned the phone perfectly to still see car screen and phone screen. The magnet is very strong and securely held my phone. 11 months in, the hold on the Tesla screen was a bit loose and when I tightened it, it would not tighten. Some small metal piece fell out and it was rendered useless (in the middle of a long trip no less) I liked the mount well enough to purchase again, hesitantly. Crossing fingers it will last longer than 11 months this time.

The fit is perfect in my model Y. It came with a small adhesive pad that could be used to further improve the grip, but I did not find it necessary. My pixel 9 pro is rock solid on the mount (with a MagSafe case). As it's designed to sit on top of the display your phone may be in your line of sight when it is in portrait mode. That may or may not be desired. For me it works well.

Very good piece of kit if you need somewhere to keep your phone. No glue residue. Very easy to fit and it is very steady. Keeps me 25 ultra in place.
