Prym Ergonomic Crochet Hook 8mm,White, Purple

This is my favourite type of crochet hook. It’s soft and has a good grip, easy on the wrists, and the tip of the hook is the perfect shape, a bit pointier than many other brands, as I don’t like it when it’s too round. Definitely recommend.

Quick delivery & Great product but had return them as wrong size ordered. Thought I was ordering 8mm but looks like I accidentally ordered 6mm. Returning these and ordering the only 8mm available.

I love these hooks and are good value for money. They are easy to use are comfortable in the hand and glide through the yarn. Due to their lightweight I kind of forget i have them in my hand. The Prym hook are delicate and so if I take them on the go I do have a case for them.

Nice sized hook in terms of length. Comfy to hold with a rubberised grip. I found that the yarn felt a bit ‘sticky’ against it to begin with, but after a few stitches it smoothed out and now slides easily. Only loses one star because it is described as being metal, which is why I chose this over similar hooks, as I find plastic hooks bend after a while. I suppose that it might have a metal core but all the surfaces are plastic. Time will tell...

Well this is just what i needed for this thicker fluffy yarn. I was struggling before, as my crochet hook the shaft was too short. One pattern required 6 stitches on the hook. This Prym hook is a must the yarn slides perfectly, yet its is ergonomic for my arthritic hands. I recommend this.

I had already bought a different make of hooks. The steel hook in a silicon handle. Very good. Problem? Every time I used a 6mm hook, l kept whacking my fingers on my left hand. I had to stop working on my crochet for days at a time. I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THESE SOONER! I also had another ergonomic hook size 6mm, the handle end is a different style. Unfortunately, it had a steel hook, so l had the same problem. These PRYM hooks are perfect. Easy to hold, therefore, easy to use. The yarn goes smoothly over the hook. Buying 1 hook, 1 at a time, is more expensive than buying a set. As l have more than 1 crochet work bag, l ordered a set of PRYM hooks. I have also ordered a size 10mm to use for the SUPER CHUNKY yarn l bought. They are all a pleasure to use. NO MORE WRIST PAIN! I wish I had known of the PRYM ergonomic range before, but they never came up during a product search. I would recommend this make to everyone, beginners & skilled workers.

I bought this to make a blanket using very thick, velvetty yarn and I needed a hook with a long length. This hook is perfect, and as comfortable to use as other ergonomically designed hooks
