Family Christmas Memory Book Perfection
I spent way too many hours tracking down a very specific Christmas memory book that I own to continue keeping it up and in doing so, I found this and one other that I loved. Unfortunately, there were no pictures of the inside pages of either so I bought both to decide between. This book was total perfection, two pages for each year, a few simple prompts, and space to include a "day of" picture and your Christmas card for that year.( I've included pictures of the title page and the interior, yearly pages for reference.) Also, funny story, my MIL was visiting when this one arrived and cried out in excitement, she had received this very book as a wedding gift and she had kept it up year after year and was in need of another. So, I handed it over to her and promptly ordered another much to her happiness!

25 Years of Family Memories Recorded - 2005 Sample
My mother gave me this book for a gift 25 years ago: this 2016 Christmas is the last entry in the book. I looked for this book a few years ago and could not find it anywhere. So glad it is now being published again! Thank you, Traditional Press for republishing The Simms-Taylor Collection.I have the 1979 Nancy Taylor - 1982 Revised Edition. It's such a treat having 25 years of memories recorded, along with the highlights of each year. Looking back through the book I can see my life and children's lives unfolding...I can see where relationships were strained, and where they were flourishing. So a nice memoir to pass on to my children and grandchildren one day. I also have the Christmas letters I wrote over the years: I kept them with the book. I just ordered a new book for the NEXT 25 YEARS!There are four sections to each year: The Title "Christmas 2006"; "Where we gathered" to write the name or address; "Those who joined in the cheer" where you can list names of attendees; "Special events of the Holiday Season"; "Memories of the past year"; "We exchanged greetings with our friends" where you can glue in your Christmas card...or just more pictures of the years or holidays. I am included a sample from 2006. Each year looks different in my book.

Buy this. No question
My mother in law bought this for me when I married her son and I didn't know how much I would love it. I highly recommend it. I don't use it exactly as the pages describe, but I love writing memories of the season when we "take down Christmas". I always include our Christmas activities for that year and write down what was happening in the news and how we were feeling and what we did. We read it every year and it never fails to bring a smile and a tear or two.

A simple meaningful gift
I bought 2 of these this year. Believe it or not a friend gave me one 25 years ago (almost exactly the same) and it is now full! 25 years of memories... so this past Christmas I had to get a new one. I also bought my adult daughter one to start her own memories. We save one Christmas card from each year and I wrote a sentence or two about all the close family, maybe who was born or died. Sometimes I would throw in the price of eggs too. We documented where we spent Christmas and who was with us. This book solved an argument this year! I stored the kids letters to Santa in the back pages too. It was a delight for family to skim the pages and read what I wrote. Most seasons it was the last thing to be put away. When I got a few minutes I'd jot down a couple pages and back to the attic it would go until next Christmas. Best gift I ever got.

Recommended
I bought this book to replace one that I already filled up. My other book asked more questions that I didn't necessarily think that I needed to answer ever year (what we ate). This book is shorter, but I have enough prompts and room to write our memories down. After I filled in this year's Christmas events, my family said that they liked the other book better. Oh well. This will have to do for the next 25 years! haha! It's a good book for someone that wants to record their Christmas memories. I would recommend it.

Simple Christmas Tradition
We bought one of these the first year we were married and used if faithfully every year. It is a beautiful keepsake. I'm just sad there are no more pages to continue. (It has room for the first 25 years only.) I bought this this year as a gift for our son and daughter-in-law, so they can start the tradition now that they are married. Our daughter-in-law was overjoyed by the idea and so glad to be able to carry on a tradition for a second generation. It is a simple book but the pages are sturdy and ours has lasted all these years without incident. I would recommend to everyone.

Memories
We have one of these for 27 Christmases and they memories are wonderful. Reading what was happening during that year is far more enlightening that just looking a pictures. Our children love reading what presents they received, if Santa thought they were bad or good. My wife always buys one for any newlywed in our circle of family or friends to get them started out. If you take the time to jot time a few memories you will really enjoy them years later and your children and grandchildren can live those moments as well.

A meaningful part of our Christmas tradition
My wife & I received a copy of this book as a Christmas gift when we were first married, 24 years ago. We have faithfully completed pages within this book to track each and every Christmas that we have spent together. Through the pages of this fine publication we have tracked the growth if our family and the passage of the years. We are now nearing the need for a new book, it took a little searching but I was able to find 2 in the condition that I wanted.I was sad to find that the book is no longer published. Providing such a quality product for families to track their holidays is such a wonderful endeavor.I ask that the publishers reconsider this product...and Please bring it back....
