Get charcoal going fast and easy had for over six months does not show any rust

Works exactly as advertised! Used for lighting the coals to make our Christmas turkey on charcoal grill and it was easy to use. Wood handle doesn’t get hot so it is easy to dump coals once they ash over without worrying about burning yourself. It was also bigger and cheaper than the one I saw in a big box store so seemed like a good value to me!

Works great! Doesn’t deflect heat away from handle very well

It's a simple metal cylinder used to help my light fires for my BBQ pit. It does exactly what it says it will, it looks great, the size is adequate (at worst), and I bet it will last for years. That's how you define value. Two picks of nit 1 - The first time you light it, you will smell chemicals burning off the metal. Stay well ventilated while this process occurs. 2 - I HIGHLY suggest drilling some small holes at the bottom of the chimney to help with airflow. The holes should be at the bottom of the cylinder, but above the internal base that holds the charcoal in place. This should kick your charcoal starting in turbo.

Für den Anfang macht er einen guten Eindruck. Der Griff ist mit 2 Schrauben schnell festgedreht und stabil. Bei zweimaligem benutzen sind noch keine großen Gebrauchsspuren. Wie lange das Material hält, wird sich erst zeigen müssen.

Preis ist gut,sieht auch hochwertig aus, jedoch ist nach dem ersten Gebrauch und der anschließenden Abkühlung die naht aufgegangen

Mein erster Anzündkamin hat im Baumarkt 5 Euro gekostet (heute kosten ähnliche eher 10 Euro) und ist in knapp 10 Jahren ca. 300 mal gelaufen bis er verschlissen/durchgerostet war. Der hier kostet 30 Euro, entsprechend müsste er also 30-60 Jahre halten. ;) Spaß beiseite: Die Verarbeitung wirkt ne Ecke höherwertiger, aber im Grunde kann ich die Qualität nach ein paar Wochen noch nicht bewerten, da ich nicht abschätzen kann ob die Emaille dann wirklich so ein gravierenden Unterschied macht. Schneller ist er allerdings nicht als die Billigvariante und leichter/besser verteilen kann man die Kohler auch nicht. Ich vermute die Schräge ist also reines Design und hat keinerlei praktische Funktion. Der Griff ist was schicker, wackelt aber (selbst wenn man ihn mehrmals festzieht). Der Hitzeschild ist natürlich Standard, allerdings sind die beiden Befestigungen am Griff auch aus Metall, sprich da kann man sich trotzdem leicht die Finger verbrennen wenn man keine Grillhandschuhe nutzt. Fazit: Kann man kaufen, objektiv dürfte der billige aus dem Supermarkt aber zumindel im P/L-Verhältnis für den Durchscnittsgriller die bessere Wahl sein.
