Wonderful book series
I only purchased this book and the one on teaching your Dragon to accept “no.” but I really like the authors approach. I think it’s very thoughtfully written, and very helpful for the child, not to mention the adult who is trying to convey an important lesson. This particular book is not for the parent to learn how to potty train a child, but it is definitely something that would make the child understand WHY they’ve got to go through the trouble of learning to use a toilet, something that some children aren’t so predisposed to enjoying.THE PLUSH ANIMAL THAT IS DESIGNED TO GO WITH THE SERIES IS JUST ADORABLE.

Storyline
Love these books! Great way to teach children how to handle emotions and how they live the characters.

Great illustrations. Son loves dragons and loved seeing that dragons might be afraid of the potty like he is (was)
My son (3.5) and I keep this and a few other potty books in the bathroom for him. I love the dragon and so does my son! Cute story. There is a request by the author for the reader to leave Amazon reviews. I was somewhat surprised by that. I can understand where one might want to put that in a book but it's not my favorite thing about this story.

Such a cute story
This book was so good and so fitting for my son. My 3 year old was 80% potty trained but refused to do #2 on the potty. I decided to buy this book to try to help him and while waiting for it we finally got him to go, but it was a battle. After this book arrived he became less reluctant about the potty. I can't recommend this book enough if you have a reluctant child on going potty.

Helped my daughter!
This book was so helpful in our potty learning journey with our daughter. She was terrified to #2 on the potty and I absolutely think this booked her lord her to get over her fear.

A little thin on the train part.
Drags a bit. Think the story could be a bit more into what it is to potty etc. but my 3 yr old was introduced to it at daycare and loves it so...

Get the WHOLE series!
This book has helped to be a turning point for my son to learn about the potty. He ditched his potty chair and is wiping himself now because of this book and we are starting to have less issues with him holding his poop. While some things are a little weird for my tastes, it works great for him. The author is fluent in “boy” and I aim to own the whole set.
