McCormick Pizza Topping Seasoning, Flavor Maker, 3.3 oz

In my efforts to make frozen pizza taste better than cardboard, I usually add some spices before cooking. I ran out and found this one on Amazon. Hesitant to stray too far from my known sources, I saw that it was McCormick (a well-known brand) and gave it a try. I have been very pleased. The spice is pretty intense overall and suitable to add to fresh sauce and sprinkle on frozen or deli pizza before cooking to give it a much better flavor. A blend of spices gives you an intense but not overpowering aroma and flavor. You really don't need to add much to improve the pizza greatly. As an added bonus, you get not one but TWO jars of this magic powder to enjoy. Add it with a little Gouda for an even better experience.

The house was so wonderfully scented like pizza when I put some of this seasoning on some cheesy breads. I just used hoagie roll halves and put on mozzarella cheese, then sprinkled the pizza seasoning on top. I baked them at 425 for 10 minutes. I'm thinking of putting garlic butter on the halves as well next time or I may add this to pizza sauce. It is nice and spicy with hints of oregano. Unsalted butter may work better because I noticed the salted butter did add a little more salt.

Flavorful on so many things. I put it on pizza, garlic bread, pasta and hash browns. It’s just yummy!

Excellent on pizza and many other dishes

The spice is overwhelming. It’s very strong and the flavor is very hot. I don’t know what part of the flavor supposed to remind me of pizza Will not buy again.
