used this for the kids, perfect for training. A bit unbalanced because of the design, otherwise great for basic training

I’ve been using it regularly for spinning practice and the quality is good. It’s heavy wich is good for your muscles. Downside is that is wobbly so it doesn’t work well with striking techniques

I bought this to use as a convention safe prop for my Gambit costume, and I could not have been happier with it. Painted it silver/aluminum. Glued two of the inserts to the end cap pieces, and it works great for a safe prop at anime and comic conventions. It's light, the foam is pretty durable as long as you aren't actually scrapping it on rough surfaces. Coat it in plastidip or treated paint if you want a different color than black. Once I get my Nightwing costume complete, I'm buying a second set.

I’m incredibly disappointed in this purchase. Practicing Kung Fu with this is like trying to spar with a wet noodle—floppy, a little embarrassing, and so hopeless not even Viagra could help this bo staff.
