we used this to bake Nigella's Marzipan cake (from Cook Eat Repeat): perfect, the paste much better than actual marzipan (more % almonds).

Almond paste for interesting desserts.
This product is an almond paste and I use it for a pudding eaten in parts of Madrid at Christmas. The dish is called sopa de almendra- literally almond soup and it consists of this paste, thinly sliced slithers of bread, milk and cinnamon. Excellent product and difficult to source in the UK.

Delish!
This is excellent value for a marzipan 'loaf' which has good almond content and is not packed with sugar. It is so good that you get a lasting taste of almonds and they are not so finely ground as some so you get some tiny bits of nut throughout.Loses one star as it doesn't quite match the best Lubecker marzipan but that would be quite an ask!
