Excellent knife. Fire starter comes in handy
This is one of the best knives I’ve ever bought. Great in the woods.

It's a stainless steel Mora. What else do you need to know?
If you're familiar with Mora knives, you pretty much know what you're getting with this. It's an excellent knife for a great price. It comes from the factory with a razor-sharp edge, and this one sports a stainless-steel blade so I don't have to worry too much about getting it wet or using it near the ocean. Bushcrafters may prefer a larger knife and think the lack of a full tang is a deal-breaker, but this is plenty long enough and strong enough to baton small logs. (Personally, I think if a log is too thick to baton with this knife, you should be using a hatchet or axe anyway.)My one complaint, as with all Mora knives, is the lack of a lanyard hole, which I personally think is a bit of an oversight especially on a knife specifically labeled as a survival model. But it's not enough for me to knock a star off the rating since it's simple enough to drill one if you really want to, given that it's not a full-tang blade. (Again, I wouldn't let that it's not a full-tang blade worry you. I've never heard of anyone breaking the handle of a Mora knife.)The orange color is bright enough that you don't have to worry about not being able to find it if you drop it somewhere, but isn't as day-glo as I was a bit worried it might be.The ferro rod that comes with the sheath is fine, fitting in the sheath and sparking off the back of the blade well. The diamond stone in the sheath seems like it would do the job in a pinch, but I think I'll stick to a regular sharpening stone. The sheath itself is nothing fancy, but has good retention on the blade and comes with both a loop and a belt clip, both that attach using a swivel that's stiff enough that you could carry the knife scout-style if you want, at least until the swivel loosens over time.Overall, this is the same great quality knife at an affordable price that Mora is famous for producing, and with a weather-resistant stainless steel blade. Zero complaints.

Great tool!!!
Great toolI’ll add my 2 cents to the thousands of MoraKniv fans - count me amongst you!!The sheath is solid, hold the knife firmly, I have no fears that the knife will come out accidentally. Very solid affirmative “click” on insert and requires a pretty firm tug to unsheath. Very satisfied with the sheath. The holder for the ferous rod is also smartly designed and again I’m sure it’s secure. The integrated stone is a nice touch - sure it’s small and not as easy to use as your large stone on your bench at home but in the field this is great - I had no trouble touching up my edge after use. The knife itself feels great in my hand, balanced, and sufficient but not excessive weight - very practical- the grip is also very well thought out. I wear an xl glove and this knife is a good fit - could be fatter for me but it’s not a custom knife and my hand didn’t tire after using the knife for a few hours. The top of the knife is a square cut to allow good strikes on the ferous rod - it works extremely well and I’ve started several fires with just dry shavings the knife produced hit with a shower of sparks. Note though that if you don’t want to start fires with the ferous rod then perhaps this isn’t the knife for you as that back edge is actually sharp. When working with a knife I often have my hand or fingers on that back edge and I found that quite uncomfortable with the ground edge - not a defect at all, it was designed that way - just a trade off - want to start fires or use both hands on the blade??? The ferous rod itself is the traditional size and has a useful “handle” for your thumb and finger. Once you get good at using these the smaller the better.Great knife, glad I have it - I have several more on order!

Mora Quality
Excellent quality for a camping knife. Diamond sharpener and fire starter a plus. Stainless steel blade is nice to have in moist conditions. I have several outdoor knives that have come from Happy Campers. Great company to buy from. Would purchase again.

One great knife!
For those of you who are into "bushcraft," I am not. I am just an incurable knife collector (with several hundred to my credit) and hope that those of you who are much more knowledgeable than I will jump in here and corrected me wherever needed.I, with my somewhat limited knowledge of faro stick fire starting, have just compared the Marakniv "Light My Fire" knife with this Marakniv Bushcraft survival knife and, just to add to the confusion, threw into the comparison an Opinel #12 "Explorer" knife. I love the Opinel knives, one of the original "peasant knife" designs, and had grand hopes!First Choice: This knife, the Mora Bushcraft. By far the most comfortable, non-slip handle of the three. Faro rod is long enough where you can get a decent "one-swipe" spark. Comes with two belt attachments, the clip on and the solid loop, through the belt attachment.Second choice would be the Mora "light my Fire" with its faro rod "secreted" in its handle. Smaller and much more compact than their Bushcraft model, but lacking the aforementioned handle comfort and length of the faro rod.And now to my third choice. Much as it grieves me, the Opinel #12 (much as I love my Opinels) came in at a very, very distance third. Oversized & heavy, when compared to the Moras, it makes for a knife that is awkward to carry in anything other than a backpack. The faro rod provided by Opinel is, at least on the example that I own, all but worthless, failing to provide any spark at all whereas the Morakniv rods seem to work every time.

Great quality
I’ve given a few of these as gifts - everyone loves them. They are sharp and feel high-quality. For how nice it is, it’s a great value for the money. And the shape make it really easy to hold.My brother has been using his for a few years and all the different materials that make up the knife have held up great!
