Glass Clear View Long Slot 2-Slice Toaster

Nice looking but not very functional. Can't really see the entire bread toasting and you have to bend down to view it, and the toasting is not even.

I really like this toaster. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing (via the see through facing and the stainless steel body) but it's super easy to use and clean. The body of the toaster is long and slender making it easy push into a corner in order to conserve counter space. Great toaster for everyday use. The toaster has 3 buttons (defrost, reheat, and bagel) and a heat dial that ranges from 1-7. We've had it for a couple of months and have no complaints about performance or design.

Overall a great toaster. We buy a lot of fancy loaves and slice them ourselves a lot (read: huge, poorly sliced thick pieces of bread). This toaster could probably fit an entire subway 12 inch bread loaf (like 3 inches thick, 6 inches tall, by 10 inches long), it's huge. Also another nice feature is the handle lifts the toast out high enough that you don't have to force-eject your toast into the floor. The downside is that there are no coils in the center area of the toast, so you have to be VERY PRECISE with your time (we use 3.5) or you'll have black crust and barely toasted center. Being able to see in the side is helpful not as a new feature, but more as a security against what this toaster could be doing if you're not paying attention. Good product overall, but not like your normal toaster.

The handle wouldn't engage when pushed down. Unable to use - returned it.

The center piece (the part the toast rests on when toasting) is very flimsy and broke soon after we received this toaster. We have tried to adjust the bent piece (left-hand side) to no avail. I had no idea the return policy is only thirty (30) days until I finally gave up attempting to repair it and decided to send it back for a refund. Has something to do with being shipped straight from the vendor instead of Amazon, so it appears we're stuck with it. Very disappointed, especially after checking the reviews before and after buying. I don't see any mention of this particular problem (unless I missed something,) so perhaps we got a defective product. No idea. Also, the photo and description suggests that the toaster will accept thick pieces of French toast and bagels, so we assumed it would toast four regular slices of bread, too (sometimes we put two back to back to keep one side untoasted.) It may be due to the broken centerpiece, but placing two pieces together usually results in one sliding down and getting stuck on one side of the centerpiece. Never had a toaster where this was a problem before. Other than that, we liked being able to see the toast being browned to our specifications, although it's often uneven, again, due to the centerpiece being at an angle with the left side broken.

Love this toaster! Works great for me. Better price than many early brands.

Overall, the toaster is very good. Had some difficulty in adjusting it to my toasting preference, but finally got it. Was a great buy for the money.
