why spend $500 when you can spend only $72?!
I just got this yesterday, July 19, 2024. I bought it during Prime days for $72. I installed them tonight, July 20, 2024. First off, every individual component is separately packaged/wrapped. It ships in a small little white box with a small sticker label. You immediately get the impression that this is something from China, which it is. I installed these on my TNVC DTNVS.Even though this is made in China, it feels of quality. The iris ring along with the sacrificial lens ring are made out of metal, probably aluminum. The iris has about 3 threads but it's enough to securely screw into place and hold everything firm. You just screw it in hand tight. Same goes with the sacrificial lens. Here's the thing though, the iris ring is super smooth and easy to rotate! You can just use the tip of your finger to easily rotate the collar. I mean, it's incredibly smooth! It's so smooth that when you're adjusting the iris you're not also moving the objective lens and thereby changing the focus. The only I experienced though is that when you're initially screwing in the iris there is a tendency to also move the objective lens which will change your focus. I set my focus to infinity and after installing the left side I notice my left side was slightly blurry at infinity distance. So I unscrewed the iris, held the objective ring with one hand so that it wouldn't spin, and with my other hand screw back in the iris. This seemed to do the trick. Once on, you have no need to worry about spinning your objective lens when turning the iris. Again, the iris ring is that smooth! And lastly, the plastic covers feel and look cheap. But then again, it's only meant to stay on when not in use, ie storage, so I can live with that. I highly recommend this! And I prefer this screw-in type vs. the Matbock Tarsiers which are 'friction fit' on. Your mileage may vary.

Great upgrade for your NV device
These work great easy to install on your NV device . Packaged very good . Better than scope caps with hole drilled in the center .

Pretty sure they could sell these for $300 and they would still sell just fine.
Well put together little kit, each item comes individually packaged in a hard cases and threads in wonderfully, if you think these are junk TNVC has the real ones for $500, would definitely purchase again.

Decent
My preliminary impressions are good , each peice came in a hard plastic box to protect it .The threads were clean and good and the product as a whole was clean and appears to be in spec.If you don't have adjustable gain on your rnvgs or pvs14 based optics . This setup is very worth the money .So far so good , will test in the field . Not sure about durability but happy thus far. With the ability to limit light and also have a sacrificial lens without having to remove and install day caps / sacrificial lense everytime I go to use them in different environments is awesome !
