Nice and sleek design if you want a square theme. The finish is beautiful. The re-key feature means you can easily match this deadbolt to any Kwikset key. All my locks are keyed alike and it took me only 15 seconds to do it after reading the directions.

I struggled a little getting it to fit in the existing opening but once that was done, it was a smooth installation. Resetting the key was also easy

I purchased three. These were incredibly hard to install and after installation, one of the locks did not turn with the key provided.

I had just installed this deadbolt and it didn't last long at all. It was picked and my apt was broken into again. My things stolen and place destroyed. There is no lock system that has been able to keep me, my dog, or my things safe.

Two people tried troubleshooting . Called 800 number and vm said no one to answer phone. Put key into cylinder and could not turn 90 degrees as instructed. Returning and will try a second one as it matches with handle already on door. This particular one gets 1 rating. Hoping for better success on a second one.
