I recently purchased a cast iron tortilla press for the high hopes of enhancing my homemade tortilla game. Unfortunately, my experience has been some with disappointing right out of the box due to a significant issue that has prevented me from even putting the press to use. From a purely physical standpoint, the tortilla press appears to be solidly constructed. The cast iron feels heavy and durable, suggesting that it's built to last and should be able to withstand frequent use. The design of the press is classic and aesthetically pleasing, with a robust handle that seems like it would provide good leverage. The overall look gives an impression of a high quality kitchen tool. The major issue here is that the press arrived without the necessary bolts to hold it together. This is a critical oversight, as these bolts are essential for the press to function correctly and ensure proper alignment. Without them, the press is essentially unusable. Because of the press arrived and complete, I haven't been able to use it. The missing bolts have created a significant inconvenience, requiring me to source replacement hardware before I can put the press to work. This unexpected problem has been quite frustrating and has delayed my ability to test the product. Given the issue with missing parts, I am now left wondering about the responsiveness and support of the seller. I'll need to contact them to address this problem, which adds an additional layer of hassle and uncertainty. Overall, while the cast iron tortilla press appears to be well made in terms of build and design, the missing bolts have rendered it unusable at this time. Until I can source or receive the necessary hardware, I can't comment on its performance or effectiveness. This situation has been quite disappointing, and I would recommend a potential buyer to verify that all parts are included upon delivery. For now I am hopeful that the issue can be resolved quickly so I can finally give this a proper test.

Product did not include pins to enable the product to function. I purchased small bolts at a hardware store

We could not put the press together since they sent two of the same upper presses. No instructions were included, but we finally figured out why we could not assemble it! We needed the lower press to attach to one of the upper presses we received! Poor quality control in the packaging from their plant in China!
