Nice earthy cycled packaging. Every color plus some shades. Perfect to fit in my sons backpack. Fits well in my middle schoolers hand for coloring. He loves them for doodling and art class and has such fun. Great brand. Vibrant color. Smooth pencil and doesnt break. Would buy agian worth the cost.

The color pencils are sturdy and the colors vibrant and true to the color.

These are basically a good quality scholastic or kid's level colored pencil. You can tell from the price that they are not really "premium." The feel heavy and solid in the hand, they sharpen well and I haven't broken a point in the sharpener yet. They are durable. Don't presume that because they are from Staedtler, they are "professional quality." The pencil lead is waxy and soft, not hard like an artist's colored pencil. They lay down color pretty well, and layer okay, but they aren't the best for blending. If you just want to lay down a single color, you can get a pretty rich tone by covering the same area with several layers, but gradations and painterly techniques are not well suited to these pencils. I find them similar to Crayola colored pencils. Crayola is, in my opinion, more vibrant, but Staedtler Noris are built better and more durable.

I love the colour pencils. They run smooth on the paper without any grits or scratching. Sometimes, the color of the lead looks different from the pencil (the stripe outside), but the color on the pencils look more true to what you draw. I like the feel of pencils when I grip. It's different from yellow school pencils which are shiny. These Staedler color pencils feels more friction to hold. They aren't rough or anything. The lead isn't too soft. The second picture (24 colors drawn on a grid paper) and the third picture showing their tips correspond so that you can see which pencil make which color. You can see I have colored softly and boldly with each color. When I did boldly, I pressed the pencils quite hard but it didn't break the lead at all. I wish they have number if not color names printed on each pencil so that I can remember which color I have used. 5 stars.

These colored pencils came with lots of colors which was nice. But they were not smooth. You had to push kind of hard to get the color to be solid. They were nice for multiple kids to use because there were a lot of pencils, but I wouldn't get them for my kid to use for a project or school as they made my hand tired from pushing so hard.

Just as described and arrived quickly. Purchased for child but this would be good for adult coloring books too.

My girls use these for school when they grew out of crayola. If they can pass for the tweens, they can pass for anyone. Nice colours, get a good number of pencils with a variety of colours.
