I tried everything natural last year. Nematodes used exactly as instructed had no effect. Beer traps caught loads every night but not all, as plants were still decimated last year.I saw that these are Soil Association approved and organic so gave them a go. I have been using them for about six weeks.Not one plant has been attacked in the borders/containers where I sprinkle them, though slug/snail trails can be seen on the path and patio where they aren't used.I have never seen a dead slug or slime so the claims must be true; that they immediately go underground.I reapply when I can't see them any more. I scatter as instructed.

Effective product, and safe for pets; unless you have pet snails!These pellets are spagetti impregnated with iron phosphate; they therefore may have some benefit to feritlising the soil somewhat.Unlike metalaldehyde pellets, these are not particularly harmful to mammals, so if you have cats, dogs, rabbits etc, these are the pellets to get, as even if your pet eats them, they arent too harmful (though I would recommend using these as directed, not excessively and trying to discourage pets form eating them!)

this has not really worked and rather seemed to grow a mould on the surface of the soil. i was planting in pots - so maybe this was the difference. i have since bought a spray and some copper bands - and also squirt amonia and water mix in the area. i may use this again in the future as part of a multi-faceted defense system - but the moulding has put me off for now.

No dislikes. For many years I have used Nemaslug, as I have always been worried about the effect on my dogs using pellets. However the previous remedy doesn't seem to be working as well this year, so tried this, so far so good.

This product really works in my garden, I have been using it for many years now and I have had no problem with slugs/snails since I started using it. It does not seem to affect earthworms or other creatures.

It does what it says on the box. I top up once a month and I have completely banished slugs and snails from my garden. No more half eaten plants. Excellent product, highly recommend.

This product was great for killing slugs as they came out of hibernation in February. I have not seen one. There have been quite a few snails though.

most of the time it works. I use it around young plants and this seems to work.
