This is my 15th capture card purchase in 2 years, and I can confidently say this one works the best. I specifically ordered this upgraded GEN 3 version because it supports 4K, and I’m very impressed. I tested it at 4K 30fps (the max my camera supports), recording through OBS while simultaneously recording on the camera itself — and it worked perfectly. That’s a big deal, because with most capture cards, trying to record both ways usually leads to a black screen. No lag, no delay, smooth performance every time. At this price point, you won’t find anything better. Highly recommend it!

Honestly at this price range this is good. 1080p 60 fps on usb 3.0 and even 1080p 50 fps if you have only usb 2.0 But as the title on Amazon claimed this is capable of capturing 2k and 4k i don't see these options in my OBS studio (I am using it for a capture loop for streaming) Anyways nvm at this price range i would only expect 1080p 60fps. I was only gonna use 1080p@60. For now no stutters or anything. Latency is also okay okay doesn't effect much. and special mention for braided wires thank you so much for this. The aluminium case is supposed to go off that heat very easy i hope it does it job in the long run. No drivers or anything required just plug and play. There are no stutters observed until now. Might update in future if there are any issues. Entry level capture card with around 40-60ms Latency. I guess that's okay doesn't makes any major difference, Okay product for beginner streamers. Also a tip for absolutely beginners, new users you need to tweak the display settings in windows (mirror your main screen or game capture monitor to the capture card if you wanna use the capture card like me - capture loop) HDMI port out from your gpu -> hdmi cable -> hdmi in port of the capture card -> capture card -> usb out cable -> this usb cable back in your motherboard (USB 3.0 or more for 60 fps ) If you have USB 2.0 it will only give you 50 fps. Now you should be able to see this input as a Video input source in your streaming software (I use OBS studio). Hope it helps. Cheers

I’m using this capture card on my M1 Mac, and after a little bit of setup in OBS, it’s been working beautifully. I capture at 1080p 60fps, and the video is smooth and clear. The colors look fantastic on my Mac’s Retina display, which really makes a difference when reviewing footage. It’s not plug-and-play—you do need to tweak some OBS settings—but once configured, it’s very reliable. Audio stays in sync, and I haven’t had any lag or dropouts during longer sessions. Overall, for the price, this capture card is an excellent value. If you’re on a Mac and using OBS, it’s a solid choice.

Product is good and works nicely but if you are planning to capture your Android phone screen then it will cap your device to 60fps as soon as you connect the device. For andriod user, download scrcpy from github and customise the code at 8mbps bitrate and no control Tada, you you have got no capped fps, no latency , for audio use a headphone connected with your pc. No ingame sound while casting screen.

This unit is a true USB 3.0 unit and it supports 1080p @60 HZ and YUV(aka YUY2) raw format also and this is the first card in the segment that supports that. I observed the colour and video quality difference between YUY2 and MJPEG video format , colours in YUV looks really good ! Usb 3.0 video: When the device is connected to a USB 3.0 port it gives more frame rate and very good video quality and supports FHD@60hz.. ( Usb 3.0 video feed is less sharpen than usb 2.0 feed which looks real and better quality because I think over sharpness doesn't look good ). Usb 2.0 video: When connected to a usb 2.0 port it shows up as "USB2.0 Video" .I also observed that when we use it in USB 2.0 port on laptop it gives sharp video quality but seems like less frame rate as usb 2.0 has limitations. Overall I think this is really improved product as compared to the older model capture card from PiBOX .. Now the video quality and FPS is comparable with the more expensive capture cards ( but when we connect this capture card with USB 3.0 port which is always recommended ) I have already created and published a detailed Unboxing and Review video of this capture card on My YouTube channel - "EXPOSUREEE" You can search and check that on YouTube.!
