MARATHON Atomic Full Calendar Clock with Extra Large Digits Indoor and Outdoor Temperature

This is our fourth Marathon timepiece, and the 2nd with automatic time set. They improved the Time Zone setting to a slide switch on the back instead of going through the options. And, AA batteries are included, so I was able to set this up out of the box.The clock digits are large and are clear from across the room, at all angles. The outdoor temperature is nice to have, as is the Day and Date display.

Easy to read from a distance.

The sensor does not report accurate temperature. I happened to order an extra remote sensor and tried it as well. The same problem. They reported bogus temperatures that are at least 5-9 degrees different from other similar clocks I have at home. I have 3 different brands and they all reported within 1, 2 degrees different within each other but this clock reported the worst and ridiculous temperature. I even compared with online and Alexa reported temperature so if you only have this one clock, you won't be able to see what I saw.Revised (11-14): it turned out that the location of where you put the sensor is extremely important. Although I put it in a shade area like the instruction booklet instructed but there was a window of a about 2 hours when the sun did shine on it and that's why it made the sensor reported 8-10 degrees higher than normal. I happened to do my test during that window. So the lesson learned is the sensor should be place in an area where it's consistent during the whole day. I even noticed a huge different when I compare sensors placed in the front and the back of the house. I revised my review and gave this clock a 5-star (for now) because everything seems solid and nice.

Headline says it all. I picked this up to replace my Sharper Image model which is made by the same company. My older one I used for many years, but the outdoor sensor broke.This newer model is nearly as good but just a tad smaller. I think the older model had easier to see numbers on it.My biggest complaint with the newer model is the battery life. This one uses AA batteries but the old one used C batteries. Yes, the new model is lighter and more slim, but that means the batteries don't last as long. I HATE changing the batteries out on this thing, and because I don't live in North America the atomic clock feature is useless.Still a good clock and worth buying, but I can't give it 5 stars.

Need a new clock this one does not work properly! I am in the process of trying to send it back, but it’d be more convenient to drop it off at Kohl’s in Greenwood, Indiana. I am needing a return label sent for that location

Large numbers, and easy to set up! Have had other brands and they won't connect with outside temp without lots of hassle! This one is great! Would buy again!
