APDTY 043216 Front Drive Shaft CV Joint Kit

Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money up front so you don't have to deal with this piece of trash like I did. Ended up having to drive 40 miles to an AutoZone that has a driveshaft and cv joint in stock to replace this one. It literally broke during installation.

Quick and easy install works great on my son's H3 Hummer, we have already hit the trails to try it out.

The media could not be loaded.  Worst product ever ... This item was bought with the "OEM meet or exceeds" quote that is on the description line. I bought it for a 2007 Hummer h3. This product completely came apart ! Causing over 1300 in damage to my transfer case drive shaft ect. I contacted Amazon them self's, which are amazingly helpful. They instructed me to call the manufacturer directly. Well I did so, and got no where!! They refused to even acknowledge the fact that in less than 24 hrs their product destroyed my car. I am now out $800+ due to Amazon helping me with a good will gift card that they should have never had to do. The manufacturer of this product will not help in any way they even told Amazon that they would not do any thing, even though they were informed that it was installed by a certified mechanic and I followed the warranty rules exactly. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

I was the wrong part

When I opened the box up I found the end cap was already installed, so that makes it a little hard to get the grease inside, and the hose clamp to seal the boot onto the drive shaft is so damaged that I can not use itdebating on returning it and reordering and hope thing are not damaged and the end cap is not already installedInstalled the CV joint today,you need marked the drive shaft to a bolt hole on the CV joint in order to time the new CV joint to when installing ithad to remove the back cap to get the grease inside ****** NOTE TO THE GUYS THAT HAVE NOT DONE THIS BE FOR*******use your finger to push the grease in packing the ball bearing when you are done you should have used all the grease and you should see grease on the boot side of the ball bearingthen reinstalled the end cap then the drive shaft time it to the bark I madeit was easy to do now time will tell how good it lasts as I normally only use four wheel drive in winter when needed
