Diablo by Freud DAG1110 7/8 in. x 7-1/2 in. Auger Bit

These Diablo drill bits are fantastic! They cut through wood like butter and even handle nails with ease. Of course, after hitting a few nails, they do wear down a bit, so try to avoid them if you can. I always stick with this brand because they offer great value and work extremely well. They're also cheaper than Bosch, and Amazon consistently has the best price compared to big box stores. Highly recommend these if you're looking for reliable, affordable drill bits!

So it makes the drill shake a lot as it starts the hole. My Canadian tire spade bit is perfectly centred. It drills through studs very fast though. Expected more from Diablo but it is made in China. I might return it to make a point

Full-time electrician. I love this bit for rough-in hole blasting. I don't like drilling through nails, though. I'll use a regular ship auger bit for nails. But, in clean wood, this Diablo auger bit drills like butter. It will survive hitting a nail, whereas other similar bit types will be useless if they touch a nail slightly. This bit is a little bit easier on the drill and battery, as it tends to cut more easily, allowing me to drill more holes on a single charge.

This is a good bit, and it last longer than the others i had use before!!

Doing electrical work you can't aways see in a header or wall this bit has held up very well hitting some oopes lol 😆
