I was experiencing some signal lock and delay issues with the first cable 33 feet Ruipro I bought here through Amazon. I tried three different media players, same thing. I don’t have the same issue with my other regular, non-fiber optic, certified HDMI 2.1 cable. I was going to return it to Amazon but decided to reach out to Ruipro’s customer first. I reached out to them by email explaining my issue in detail. Ruipro rushed a new replacement cable with expedited delivery. What a service!! I am happy to report that I have no issues with the new cable. Passed the Dolby Vision test from my receiver and Apple TV 4K. I noticed more color fidelity/pop with this new fiber cable vs the old copper cable, particularly noticeable in HDR and DV material giving it a three-dimensional feel, buy YMMV based on your source and display quality. I use this with a JVC projector in a dedicated bat cave theater. So far so good but I will keep testing for a few days more before running the cable through the attic.

I have high end PC with RTX4090 and got LG Oled TV (B4 4k), my old HDMi had no enough bandwight to give 4k 120hz signal, so i had 1-2second black screens. so i needed the high bandwight HDMI cable, with little daley, and it should have been 7meters of lenght to connect PC to TV. So o got this 25ft C-8K Fiber Gen3/C CL2 Rated, and it works perfectly, no delay, no signal loss. it is as good as advertised. getting 10bpc full rgb color signal - 120hz 4k without any problem or stutter. highly recommend this cable.

I bought this RuiPro 8K fiber HDMI cable expecting a reliable long-run solution for my home theater. Instead, it failed after barely two months of use. I installed it carefully between my AV processor and 4K projector, and it immediately caused random audio and video dropouts. The signal would disappear, the processor would lose its surround-sound lock, and the entire HDMI handshake would collapse several times during a movie. I spent hours troubleshooting and verified the issue wasn’t the projector, the receiver, or the source devices. Replacing this cable with an older (2009) 25ft copper HDMI cable completely fixed the problem, which confirmed the RuiPro cable was the weak link. For something at this price point, it shouldn’t fail this quickly or behave this inconsistently. If you’re running a projector or any long HDMI connection, look elsewhere. This cable was a disappointment and absolutely not worth the headache.

Finally received the product. It has drastically increased the quality of everything we watched. I had no idea there was texture on the "Stranger Things" lettering in the opening credits! The cables are directional for video, and allow for eARC so audio will travel both directions on the cable. The wire sheathing feels sturdy and is thin which is ideal as it doesn't take up much space in my stereo cabinet. Unlike the cables I was replacing which were ultra thick with baluns, then are slim. The HDMI connectors are well made and fit snug in their porta, be it the cable box, splitter, receiver, Fire TV, or Samsung TV. On the old cables the best I'd get out of my Fire TV was "UHD" now it shows "3840x2160 4k 60p" and the quality is night and day better. The audio also sounds clearer and is louder and comes through with more encoding to my receiver, like "Atmos", never seen that before. So glad I found these from the AVSForum because I was really at a loss of what to buy. I've been burned by the monster HDMI cables of yesteryear. These really are great HDMI cables. I've since changed all of mine over to these. Totally worth the cost. Original review: So far, Ive only opened the Amazon delivery boxes and one of the packages was clearly a return, no plastic shrink wrap. Inside the box was a motherboard anti-static bag, a cable tie and some foam straps. No HDMI cable. So while the description states it comes with an HDMI cable, be warned they may not. For this price point, I expected better. I'll update my review if things change.

I did have some problems with HDCP black screen flashing when connecting to things like netflix from my PC. Now this may be a problem with my TV or video card so I can't say for sure if it's the cable, but I can say that they sent me a new cable for free. Aside from that, the performance of the cable is great. I run at at 120/4k from across the room and never any signs of artifacts of signal dropping.

Awesome product just the right one for my Hisense C2 Projector. It works perfectly well with the soundbar and makes a whole lot of difference. It’s worth it.!!

This fiber optic hdmi cable is great. No lag, no issue. Works perfectly. I had purchased 2 cables (50ft and 25ft), and one started to cut audio and video intermittently for a few seconds about 4 months after purchase. So I contacted ruipro customer service and explained the defect, and they sent a replacement to my house within 2 days. This is great customer service, and the product works flawlessly. Would purchase again

My TV is 35ft from computer so this 40ft is perfect lenght. Quality cable because I can game at 144hz 1080p without a single drop. Edit: good for 1080p 144hz gaming, and possibly 4k 60hz, but black screen flash at 4k 120hz/144hz so possibly a cheap copper thread or I think 4k 120hz and more is just nearly impossible at a certain distance like 40ft like this one.

Right out of the box it feels like a soft wire cable... not 10 gauge nylon fishing line. ~1/4" OD Other than that it worked from boot up @120 and then I pushed to max 144. No problems with audio and Crunchyroll streamed fine. If you need a short cable wire is great, and you can get one that is certified. But If you need a longer cable you have to get lucky. This one works (40 Ft tested great)
