Siebenschläfer Medium All Year Round Duvet (10.5 Tog, King Size)

No complaints with this, well packaged and good quality, fresh and clean out of the package. Well stitched to hold filling together and stop it bunching up in areas. Nice smooth surface cover, not like the rough papery ones that you often get with supermarket duvets, this makes the duvet feel more expensive than it was. Bought the 10.5 tog, seems quite thin but really holds the warmth so best of both worlds, duvet isn't too heavy but still get the comfort and warmth. Would say the 10.5 tog is probably best for autumn/winter as even though it is lightweight, I can imagine would be far too warm for summer/spring, of course this is personal preference. Have only just purchased so cannot comment on how it washes. Glad to find this and will do me well for the coming winter.

Great buy,no chemical smell (I was worried about it smelling chemically as I'm hyper sensitive to smells) good quality,well made.I purchased it as a summer duvet,it's nice and lightweight. ..but I haven't needed to change to my winter duvet yet! It's nearly the end of January and it's still keeping me warm enough! 🤔 No I'm not menopausal 😅 and I live in Scotland! Great value for money,very happy with my purchase 🙂 Would buy again.

Bought this duvet back in June this year. Figured it was as cheaper than dry cleaning my old summer duvet ( a bit wasteful I know) BUT what attracted me to this particular brand was that it’s washable! It says it can be dry cleaned or washed in a machine up to 95 degrees C. Yes you read that correctly! So I have used it over the summer and although we’ve had some ridiculously hot weather since June ( for the UK) it’s been fine… if anything I’ve been too warm ( but I’m perimenopausal so that’s a given… my only down side is with it is that I get VERY hot and sweaty) Unfortunately our rescue dog had a blip and accidentally wee’ed on my bed in his sleep. Nightmare…. So today I went for it and stuffed it in my washing machine … just a normal old hotpoint. Takes up to 6kg …I washed it on a 60 degree wash to kill off bugs and germs ( as you should with towels and bedding) The duvet is a 100% polyester, Lightweight 4.5 tog king size. I knew it was full to the gunnels - so thought I’d give it a go anyway….At worst I’d loose a duvet. Well! I’ve not long taken it out the machine and put it outside to dry off in the wind a bit. Firstly it was pretty dry when it came out. No drips or water or anything remotely like that. It didn’t seem to move that much in the machine that I could see as it was full. But it all smelled really clean and fresh when I took it out and did the sniff test. One round of tumble drying should see it dry ( it’s come in after about an hour outside as it’s raining now) But I’m absolutely DELIGHTED by the results! Clean, held its shaped ( lots of stitching to keep the wadding in place) and it looks good as new. I have immediately recommended it to family and friends ( yep I’m sad I know😂😉) but how wonderful to have a washable duvet that will wash in a bog standard ordinary 15 yr old washing machine!? I wouldn’t want to wash anything above a king sized duvet…. And I think if it was a thicker tog you’d want a bigger size machine than my little 6kg machine. However I can totally see it being fine with a double or single on a thicker tog. I would say a 4.5 in both would be great, but a winter weight duvet in a king would be a dry cleaning job unless you have a bigger machine. This would be great for kids in a single sized duvet in a thicker medium or winter tog as you could easily wash it at home. The size fits my king size covers absolutely fine and it’s very cosy and warm. I’ll probably put it back on until the winter months as I run super hot at night. I’m tempted to order a heavier weight one for winter ( usually I like feather and down but this is great) as it’s well worth the price and washed up so well. I imagine being dry cleaned will produce the same results and be cheaper (as it’s not feather and down etc) Maybe I’m late to the party but this is brilliant and deserves a full 5 stars!

Delivery was quick, ordered on a Monday arrived on the Wednesday. When unwrapped, I thought the duvet doesn’t look like a 15 tog, it’s quite flat but that’s possibly due to the nice stitching. I like how it’s stitched keeping the filling in place. The cover is polyester but has a nice silky feel. It sits nicely inside the duvet cover. It’s actually nice and warm and snuggles around you. I think it’s good value for money. I’m pleased with it.

Well made and light but as warm as the bulky type. Fits in the washer easily. I highly recommend this.

When it comes to duvets I think I’m a bit of a duvet snob. I have always spent way too much money on duvets over the years anywhere between £70-£200 When I saw this duvet and read the positive reviews I knew I had to buy one. Arrived next day very well packaged by Amazon and the retailer. I immediately opened the duvet up so it would plump up a little after being tightly packaged, all I can say is I was very impressed with the quality,size and the stitching. I bought the 15tog and this is more than thick enough, but still very lightweight to handle. The stitching is excellent the duvet is all finished off with a piping around the duvet. I love how it is all stitched this will definitely stop any of the filling clumping up in some areas of the duvet. The sizing is accurately in fact I had to get my tape measure to measure the duvet when it was laid out on my floor I thought I had been sent a kingsize one by mistake. This has to be the first duvet I have ever owned that has filled each corner of a duvet cover. No smell Overall more than happy with this duvet for the low price tag. I have just ordered another one for my son. Thank you

Really happy with this duvet. It’s extremely comfortable and works well in all weather conditions — not too warm, not too light. The fabric feels soft and breathable, and the quality is excellent. I sleep much better with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an all-season duvet. Truly worth it.
