Q: Do these shoes stay on well, or can toddlers take them off easily?

They stay on well. I haven't had my 19 months try and take them off so I'm not sure. If the shoes are a little big (they were for my girl) they might slip off.

Q: Why you put a size chart that doesn’t describe your sizes options? If I need 4 1/4 inches long shoe, which of your sizes should I buy?

My son is 11 months and his foot measured about the same. I bought him size 4 and there is plenty of room in his shoes. I almost wish I would’ve gotten a 3 instead, but I know he’ll grow into them fairly quickly.
