Okay For A Toy, Too Unreliable For Orienteering
This compass is a unique mix of tablet and lensatic compass, workable, but not accurate or tough enough for hiking in wilderness. There is a plastic disc inside the capsule that seems to be an attempt to make something that looks like a magnetic declination adjustment, but it doesn't do anything. Okay for a toy.

Avoid - cheap and nasty
Useless - a real case of you get what you pay for. Couldn't find my Silva compass so bought this to take my 11 yr old son on his first hill walking trip. Shouldn't have bothered, completely useless as a compass as the needle just sticks. Bought a replacement Silva from an outdoor shop near where we camped in Wales and showed my son the difference between the two compasses. He asked why people made this version - a very good question. Frankly, would be dangerous if the conditions meant you had to rely on it.

Not very good!!
The item looked ok , but when opened it would not point to north until you had to tap the compass.Not very good !!

Value and quality
at first for the price i expected nothing to great, but on receipt i was well pleased,great value for money and well constructed.Highly recommended.
