Very strong magnet. This is mostly plastic, which keeps it light. The ball joint is easy to adjust and tighten to most angles. Overall, good buy for the price.

Many times I would like to have a very small table top tripod for my phone. I have a case with a MagSafe ring so a MagSafe tripod is defiantly the way to go. This tripod does work, but it has some issues... the main issue for me is that the legs are all independent.. most tripods link the 3 legs mechanically so they all spread out simultaneously, this one doesn't do that, you just have to put the 3 legs where they go. If you open them all as far as they can go, then that's pretty easy, but it's also very low that way. If you try to make it taller by extending the legs only a little bit, you have to be careful to get them all the same... and you have to only extend them a little or it will collapse under the weight of the phone... It's just not as stable with the legs partially extended, but you can get it to work.Another issue is that it's really just not all that small when it's all folded up. The ball head and the MagSafe mount with it's swivel together are almost as long as the rest of the tripod. If they just put the magnet without an additional swivel onto a smaller ball head the whole thing could be much more compact. I don't see the additional swivel on the MagSafe magnet helping anything at all, the ball head could get you into any position you want if the MagSafe magnet was fixed.Also many of these little tripods come with remote shutters, and the good ones come with a place to store it on the tripod somewhere. I find the remote shutter quite helpful especially if the phone is just balancing on a tripod, once I get it where I want it, being able to take a photo or start recording without touching the phone is really nice.This does come with two MagSafe rings which is a nice touch, because you can stick those to any phone case and make it a MagSafe case.While I think this could be better, it is fairly inexpensive, so for the price I think it's pretty good, just keep in mind that if you want a remote shutter than a more expensive tripod that includes an attached remote shutter might be a better overall deal than buying them separately and it would have the added benefit of a place to store it on the tripod.

This holds tight to my iPhone 14 Pro Max through a spigen mag safe cover. I tried to shake it off and took a lot of force to make it come loose. Very handy that I can mount my phone on the same selfie stick with tripod that I use for my Insta360 camera.

So far this a simple, effective way to make my tripod really usable with my iPhone 15. Seems solidly made.

It is a magsafe tripod mount. Works fine. Would like a bigger range of motion though.

I chose this little tripod to help me with my Vine reviews! Overall, I'm fairly satisfied. The magnetic attachment that screws on is able to hold my iPhone in place through my phone case for gentle placements. It won't hold it with the case on if it is jiggled or carried around. It is possible to use the 2 stick on rings included to increase the magnetic connection, but I don't really want to add them to my phone. Another "miss" is that the rubber feet don't actually make contact with your table surface unless the legs are fully extended which makes the tripod very low. I do like the swivel ball that allows you to angle your phone for its best position which the screw then tightens to keep it in place. Without the screw tightened, it will topple over pretty easily. I think it will work really well to free up my hands for video reviews, but I don't know that I would trust it for outdoors travel as much.
