About the Author Christine Wild is a passionate writer, on paper and in life. She’s a world-travelled, fiercely independent woman who doesn’t let much get in her way. Wild was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. Shortly after turning 18, and she set off on an eight-month adventure around the globe, notably spending three months in Argentina learning Spanish, and three months in Australia not learning how to surf. She attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, where she obtained a BA in International Relations in December of 2013. Since graduating, Wild's been up to all kinds of things... you'll just have to buy her memoir to find out! Wild likes to eat, drink wine, and write in strange places. She loves reading Hemingway and prefers summers. Above all, she enjoys meaningful conversations, preferably from a handsome stranger, in the privacy of nights that turn into mornings. Since 2016, Wild has split her time between the South of France, Croatia and Serbia (inevitably stopping in Geneva for fuel when necessary.) She is not based anywhere and will meet you for a glass of wine should you be in the same city. Just Bad Timing is Christine’s debut memoir.
