Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Body Butter

This is probably my favorite sol de janiero scent! It’s light a refreshing - very different than the the yellow and the orange one- both I have and also really like, but for different reasons. I love the Cheriosa 72 orange with mica for décolleté and absolutely during the winter for a little glow. I love the original yellow cheriosa 61 at night before bed because it stays on my sheets and I just love the smell when I get back into bed at the end of a long day- I also use laundry sauce- scent on my sheets and the combo is just sooo good! This delica is thicker than their other moisturizers by ALOT. But, it melts into the skin beautifully and scent stays so nicely and skin feels wonderful for 2-3 hours after application. I also love the pink one with the vitamin c in it it also smells great.

Thick, rich, SUPER hydrating and smells AMAZING! My only complaint is the cost. It's a very steep price point, as with all SDJ products.

1. The smell is AMAZING. My husband loves the smell on me too. 2. I tried finding a dupe for a lower price… I went back to this 3. My face gets so dry in the winter, I usually don’t put anything not specifically for face on it to avoid clogged pores. I used this in a pinch because my face was flaking and it helped my skin so much. I never used anything else after that. It smelled sooo good and my face felt amazing and was amazingly moisturized. 4. I bought two, to give away one for a Xmas gift. I kept them both and found something else as the gift. 5. I have it on subscription now

The butter has very good hydrating/moisturizing properties. I use organic body butters made with shea and cocoa butter plus carrier oils and I find the Sol de Janeiro Delicia body butter comparable to those butters. I am skeptical of the claims that it instantly resolves the problem of dry skin in the heels and elbows but then I still have to find a body butter or product that resolves that problem for me. I love the fragrance. I do not find it ‘cheap’ at all and it is more sophisticated than the fragrances usually found in the $6 or $10 drug store butters/lotions. In the container the butter smells exactly as stated in the description of the product. Of course once the butter is applied to the skin the fragrance changes and adapts to the body chemistry as well as the environment. I live in hot and humid south Florida, every fragrance that I apply to my skin smells sweeter eventually. I really like how this butter smells on me even when I sweat under the sun in my hot and humid environment. The fragrance changes when worn outside in the heat but it still remains very pleasant, it does not ‘degrade’ in quality or sophistication. It layers well with my favorite perfumes. As per the intensity, I do not find the fragrance overpowering at all but it stays on the skin and the clothing and the bed sheets like a parfume does. I love that too. Application goes very smooth for me, like shown in the ad. It is expensive. It will not last me long because I use a lot of body butter on my skin after the shower at least twice a day. $50 for the bigger jar is a better value but still expensive.

Loveeee scent #59! The body cream consistency is thick and is almost mold able however it melts into your skin like butter! Lovely scent that ca be paired with the 59 mist or even a luxury fragrance. Very pricey but if you use it wisely it will last you a while.

This is probably the best that’s out there for deep moisture. The texture of the product is very thick and paste like, but immediately melts when you begin to rub it into your skin. Goes on extremely smooth and silky and doesn’t leave you looking greasy. Takes a bit to get fully absorbed, but so worth the wait. Skin feels like baby skin and appears smoother and firmer. The fragrance is really nice, but if you suffer from migraines, beware. The scent does not fade and will only come off when you shower. That said, one of the best body butters out there. Highly recommend. 4 stars just because I wish the scent was a little more subtle.

This body butter smells AMAZING I am obsessed with the scent I have bought it multiple times. It’s also very thick and makes my skin feel so soft.

I have chemical burns covering my entire body. My skin is extremely itchy and dry. I have tried tons of lotions and body oils. This stuff works BETTER than body oil. My skin is still moisturized 24 hours later. That NEVER happens with me. If I use a body oil, I HAVE to reapply in 24 hours or less. I don't have to with this. I am mind blown at how well it works for me. I have never had a product work like this does. Yes the price sucks but I have to bite the bullet and buy it anyway because I have no alternative. The smell is amazing. The formula is very thick so I have to let it warm up in my hands to spread it. I just wish the price was more affordable. You don't get a lot for the price.

Wow this smells amazing, left my skin very smooth and the fragrance lasts for at least 24 hours. I warm it in my hands before using, my new go to body butter.

J'avais reçu cette crème en cadeau. Je suis trop contente d'avoir pu la racheter. Elle est géniale. La texture est particulière : un peu comme de la pâte consistante qui fond dès qu'on l'applique sur notre peau. C'est très agréable car pas du tout gras. Elle hydrate de ouf ! Je craignais que l'odeur me gêne car je suis hyper sensible (je déteste les odeurs synthétiques) et en fait, l'odeur est vraiment agréable. Je ne vais pas vous le cacher, elle a vraiment une signature olfactive affirmée (qui parfume vos vêtements portés à même la peau) mais c'est super sympa ; en particulier pour la belle saison (ça fait un peu odeur de plage et fiesta) - Vivement les vacances ! ☀️😎🩴🌴En attendant, je mets ma crème Ah Ah
